After you watch this video, you should check my first coffee grinder restoration here,
you won't be disappointed 😉😍😝 ua-cam.com/video/TssGB8xQTfk/v-deo.html
Here's my cheese puffs receipe to make about 16 pieces ( with french measurements sorry...)
- Water ( 250 ml )
- Butter ( 80 g )
- Floor ( 150 g )
- 3 or 4 eggs ( it depends how big they are )
- Cheese ( 150 - 200 g )
- Mostard ( about 20 g )
Same steps as choux pastry recipe
Bake for about 25 min ( 200°C )
Ummm yummyy🤤
you`re the first restoration channel that actually lets us hear the sound for ultrasonic cleaner! I had no idea it sounds like that bad!
did you notice the grater part of this thing had a lot of missing ""teeth"" so to speak - impossible to restore
As you talk about food I don't know why but the paint stripper looked for me like sweet chilly sauce.
Never apologise for the metric system!
The Heavenly voices when opening the sandblasting unit was great and the recipe at the end was wonderful. Thanks
Thank you shawn 😉
@@OldThingsNeverDie- yes... would love the recipe for those!
And what sneaky (& funny) way to take a "poke, jab, or stick" @ the "vaccine "! Loved it!!! ROFL
@@pistolannie6500 looks a lot like a Brazilian recipe caled "pão de queijo", wich is literaly a cheese bread, foreign people use to love them when they trie some 😅
Your editing/filming is so good + your sense of humor is so refreshing in these restorations. Love your channel!
Thank you 😉 I put my level humor to 50 % on this video, so i can do more if you want 😆😆
@@OldThingsNeverDie- i loved the joke about calling eggs chicks lmao
@@aneeveewhohasinternet1871 and referring to her as HIS brother 🙂
@@MrGarfield what? Did i miss that part?
Ditto 😉🙃🙂
Incredible, we restored exactly the same Grater a week apart ! Congratulation the video is incredible :-)
A une prochaine ;-)
....
I remember that video 😅
Haha! I remember that!
Just watched your video. Where are the cheese puffs? :(
Nani encore un français
The restoration, the filming, the cookery and the humour all so thoroughly well done. 👍
What a grate restoration. And yes, the newly restored coffee grinder was in the background. That powder coating really does suit these food processing appliances. Love the subtle humor in your videos.
Actually, my favorite part is the baking of powder coat, watching it change to finish coat. Wish you'd show more of that.
The cheese puffs looked delicious.
I thought that was a sand blaster
I got spoiled by TysyTube and My Mechanic and it was so hard to find another channel that does the restoration at their level of quality
but you killed it! The attention to details wow
Subscribed!
Eh
this channels restorations are the best because the editing and everything is so personalized. its not JUST a restoration video. i love other restoration videos too but these ones are so much more fun to watch. its so nice to see the objects used for something afterwards.
Won't lie. The sandblasting IS my favorite part. It's so zen and satisfying plus it's cool to see what little hidden details of the part in question will be revealed as you blast away old paint and corrosion. Like you're unearthing long buried and forgotten treasure. ^.^
Making those cheese puffs was a nice touch, really ties a bow on top of the restoration.
The filming process, as always, is at a very high level! And the project turned out to be generally gorgeous!
Thank you my friend 😉
First time viewer, this kind of stuff makes me realize how innovative and awesome people can be. If someone threw this old cheese grater at me and told me to restore it my first thought would be Q-tips and rubbing alcohol. Great video, very satisfying.
I was such a big MyMechanics fan but since he's been building his car for months and forgetting small projects like that, it's no fun anymore. This is a wonderful video 😮❤❤
I like how the restored coffee grinder is in a prominent place in the kitchen. Good synergy.
This is also becoming a cooking show. I love it! I also love how you use the grater to make some cheese puffs! Great job and keep up the amazing work! :D
This is one of the highest quality and most fun restoration videos I’ve ever seen. This channel is insane! I’ll definitely be addicted to seeing all of your future restorations!
I love your videos! I watch them nearly every day. I do wish you would show more of the powder painting in your videos. While I do enjoy sandblasting, the *best* part of every video is watching you prime and paint the items once ready. It’s so satisfying to watch and also goes on so well! You’re no doubt incredibly skilled.
OK listen I did not expect to get an amazing restoration video AND a delicious cheesey recipe?!!! This was fabulous!
Two months too late to this party. I just found this channel and subscribed right away. All of my favorite things in one video: restoration, sand blasting, powder coating, cooking, ASMR, cheese. Not necessarily in that order. Going to go binge watch the rest of these videos now!
Who would have thought I would have seen two of my favourite things - a good restoration video AND Comte cheese. The finest fromage!
Congratulations for your new RESTORATION that's amazing 👏
I am a full time editor/producer and I've got to say; your camera/editing/audio team are doing exemplary work. Nice restoration too ...
Our grandparents had some interesting appliances to say so myself. Great job in restoring that and the things at least I learn from the past always intrigues me.
Oooh maaaan the sandblasting is the best part of restauration. Also the crispy cheese puffs sound is so satisfeing and makes me hungry
😆😆 I knew you would appreciate that 👍
You make me feel like the world is a good place. You are the best ❤️
I previously watched another channel doing a "restoration" that looked more like "i washed off the well placed mud" to now watching this dinner...err show and dinner actual restoration with actual work and magnificent outcome 😍❤
Thank you for sharing this.
Wow! Such a hard works! The last part is so satisfying when you show us how it work in real life.
Nom nom nom digital cheesepuffs
You my friend are funny and now I want to try making cheesepuffs too bad I don’t have a fancy grater will have to do it with a basic one
You are not online a restorer but also a genius in cooking. Merci beaucoup.
Your videos are awesome. Whoever is filming/editing, you are the best duo.
I really like watching restoration videos while high because it keeps me entertained for hours. I just found u today and I felt so immersed. 10/10
I have watched all you guys like You, Lab D, and TySy Tube all restore an old cheese grater like these and I have to say they are some of my favorite things to watch get restored
It amuses me a lot to watch your videos because you have your touches of humor and your work is impeccable. You are very detailed throughout the restoration process. And the cherry on the cake is watching you cook !!! A very complete man. Congratulations 👍👍🌹
i'm getting convinced you restore these culinary tools to justify showing your cooking skills. Embrace the cooking show, man ;)
Great restoration, great recipe, 10/10
I love your sense of humor, you seem like such a fun and great guy! Not to mention the work you do is simply amazing 👏🏻👏🏻
I don't know which I wanted more. The cheese grater or the cheese puffs. Fantastic work.
"really really unbearable" Aaaaand, subscribe, lol. Thanks for being soothing yet somehow also making me laugh a few times, and thank you for saving these gorgeous old things.
Awesome job. And you show everything working perfectly after. Niiiice.
In a world that seems to be going mad, it is wonderful to escape into a another world of creating and remaking. Very enjoyable and relaxing videos. Merci!
Brilliant restoration and I love the coffee grinder you also restored that's on your kitchen counter top
3:20 what in the home improvement television show transition special effects is that?! 😂 oh my gosh haha I love this channel so much ❤️
Those cheesy choux pastry things look so tasty. Love the yellow colour on the grater too.
I love how all old timey things had the same wooden handle. That handle company must have been crushing it in sales.
sometimes I hardly can make up my mind what I like most in your videos ... restauration or cooking 😉 .. it always looks sooo delicious 😍 😍
You can't just go from restoration to cooking channel like that and yet you did have mercy dude
Yellow is my favourite colour 💛💛💛
I chose it just for you 😁😎
Un pouce rien que pour les gougères ! Et un autre pour le jaune qui est même plus joli que cette peinture cuivrée
I remember using one of these, I just can’t remember where. It was the easiest way to grind cheese I ever used. Man I am getting soooooo old.
the angels with the sand blaster made me giggle! beautiful restoration! You've earned a subscribe!
Out of all the restoration videos ive seen, ive never seen someone test the finished product!!
The most satisfying moment when he applied the sandblasting onto the repaired tool coz you don't have to apply to much effort by removing all the rust and stains. ❤️👍🏼
Great job the cheese grater came out beautiful and gorgeous well done and nice video enjoy watching
Your page is truly unique. I have never seen a restoration page, restore the item and then use it. Very cool. You were so right, the color you chose for it was a lot better than the copper color.
the editing truly makes this mesmerizing
Wow a restoration vid and a bonus cooking vid, nice touch. I'm about to go out and buy those ingredients now!
Subscribed for many reasons but the best is you accenting the characters after painting.
I came form a post and Reddit and stayed for the content. Your channel is so good. So glad I found this
Excellent restoration and excellent choice for cheese.
Of course... this is my district, I couldn't choose anything else 😄😍
Would love to now how much time you spent on this project…….
As always very nice to see you restore these things, a real pleasure to watch.
So please keep these restoration project’s coming……….
Excellent! I was trying to gueas what color you would chose. I.was wrong lol. And those cheese biscuits looked yummy. Great job.
You are up there with my mechanics Odd Tinkering for how much I love your videos.
I’m actually in tears right now 🥺😭❤️ it’s so nice that the cheese grater got a new life, even though I couldn’t try the cheese puffs I feel like you made them just for me and that’s so sweet
That's a really good recipe🤤 and excellent work on getting that cheese grater back to its job
Yes so satisfying 🤗👍
He has a tool for everything! Great finish!
Those look amazing.
That last 20 seconds was fun
Hi, I'm french and I didn't know this culinary specialty ... Thank you.
Your camera work and editing is fantastic! Really smooth shots and you make it entertaining at every point of the resto. Speaking of which the end result was also stunning. And you made me cheese puffs...
Awesome video. I was worried it wouldn't be sharp after the sandblasting, but it shredded like a champ.
Красота. Смотрю все ваши шедевры реставрации. Спасибо❤
Nice work mate! Your filming and editing is so awesome, I really like it! Great!
R.I.P. Chick And His Brother 12:58 But I Guess Young Things Do Die
Best one yet 😂😂 great video, love the humour and detail
Great job! And thanks for sharing the cheese puffs recipe.
I love this channel. I have never seen so many tools!
The sandblaster IS my favorite moment! Ha Love your videos.
Oooh, and a recipe! Beautiful work!
I have a suggestion, a restoration/cooking show. You plan to make a meal, then you restore a cooking tool to use to make the meal at the end!! This was an amazing video!!!
WOW --- a truly great restoration. The man is an artist!!
Great video. And I did not paw at my phone screen trying to grab a cheese puff, nope I did not. 🙃 Well done on the restoration and the delicious looking cheese puffs. 👍✌
One of the best channels i've met this year! Thank you for your dedication 😋
Amazing! Loved It! 👏👏👏
Thank you 😘👍
Your editing, your pacing, the subtle humor, everything is Amazing!
Acfghgfg, I can't even...
One of your best restorations so far! Very nice! 🧀👍🏻
The humor is definitely the icing on the cake that made me subscribe after watching just this one video.
And the combination of restoration and cooking feels a little unique.
A couple of small things:
1) it definitely feels like the central spindle could have benefitted from recutting the threads, a few of them looked quite worn.
2) it would be great if you just showed for instance the voltage you use for the nickel plating and so on, would take it from restoration ASMR so a little more helpful.
3) I couldn’t tell if you already did, but I would suggest putting some food grade wax on the push block, that way it doesn’t get any of the cheese into the wood that could go bad over time.
All in all great content that I’ll definitely watch more of.
I love this kind of movies, like to watch them while getting dinner 🙂
Bravo, quelle finesse, toutes.vos vidéos sont un régal. Ces gougères, parfaites.
You ox! Casting bumps don’t have to go away because such an antique item is so original and authentic!
They painted them so thick that they weren't particularly noticeable in the final product. If he wants to powder coat them he would have to do it 4-5 times to get same fill level, and even then it doesn't look exactly the same as the old alkyd paints (which he for obvious reasons shouldn't be using).
When you look at Project Farm (youtube tester) that tested this recipe of Acetone and ATF it did surprisingly well stacked up against the big names. Sometimes old methods are the best. Keep up the great videos.
The restoration was great but those cheese poufs looked amazing!!!🤤
This guy has soo many tools I'm envious.
This was impressive as always, but funny as well! I thoroughly enjoy your work.
Omg how did you know my favourite moment is the sand blasting machine? I am always amazed by the results!!!
So, if it's a rusted cheese grater, does that make it a lesser grater? You do grat work.
Thank you very much William 😉👍
This was a very nice restoration 👍
And the recipe awsome. Greetz from 🇧🇪
This video got recommended to me and I have to say, you've gained a sub! Love your humor 😂
Omg I'm on a diet, I got so hungry after seeing those puffs. Very nice video :D.
You have done an amazing job!!! Can't wait to see what's next. Always love your videos, keep them coming.
your cooking is simple and amazing! I love it!
Aaah, another great restoration channel to add to my addiction! Honestly, you had me in the first few seconds, using good old ATF/Acetone to loosen fasteners! So many restorers just go in dry. I can attest to how amazing that blend is - I tried a bunch of them on a 15 year old turbo, on a car in Norway where roads are salted during winter. I only had space for a 5cm long spanner to loosen one of the bolts, which was completely seized after years of rust and heat-cycling... After 1 hour of ATF/Acetone soak, that bolt came off with very little effort.
To anyone still using store bought products; Forget them. This stuff will do way better. Save yourself a ton of hassle and broken bolts, and make yourself a batch - You won't regret it.
I've used it a whole bunch since that, on completely rusted exhausts and suspension parts. The only time it didn't work like magic, was a hub-nut - they are torqued down to several hundred nm's and notorious for rust-welding - but it did come off in the end. Almost did my back in, but without ATF/Acetone, my back would've been irreparably damaged for sure.
I liked the restoration part but then when you made the food and crunched into it, I decided that was my favorite part! That looked tasty AF
