Awesome video as I’m fishing a super grassy pond soon. Also to answer your question about the senko it actually represents a dying bait fish fluttering down in the water.
I finally just my pb of the yea only 3.5 but biggest so far I need a.reel for big baits man I wish I could afford that hypermag man I been wanting one for so long seeing you guys get all these reels for free that I wish I could buy erks me but I'm happy you u get em must be great to be sponsored. Keep the line tight ty enjoy life
Not watched yet but I’m hoping the chatter bait and swim jig are in this video. Man I was killin them yesterday on those 2. A one two punch. Chatter bait over the top of the grass and also coming through the very top of it just poppin it through and then ripping the swim jig through the heart of that grass. Something that was really working for me was letting those lures kinda die once they came through the grass and free fall for a second. It drove those bass nuts. When they hit these baits coming through grass they don’t play around. They destroy it every time. They really do go hand in hand for me. Can’t wait to see this!
fr? i love spinnerbaits, probably my favorite bait but i just cant use them around grass. i always seem to get caught up, even when burning it near the surface. how do you do it?
Flipping the fish over those logs to get it into the boat was just awesome. Love the fish catches in this video, it was like music of fishing or art, so enjoyable :)
Great content you have helped me catch more bass and in turn I taught my sons what I learnrd from you Chatterbaits are our absolutely most deadly and consistently effective reaction bait up until the lake weeds up to much to use them but until that time they are absolutely bass magnets when the bass are looking for a more subtle presentation but still a little noisy I use Willowchatters and these are just awesome because thay dart in different directions more dramatically than a full sized chatterbait
I have seen some giants caught on scrounger heads can you do a video on that? I have tried throwing it around grass and couldn’t get a bite also I have found that you can use a bobber stop to peg a cylinder weight on top of a swivel and use a flouro leader for a c rig through grass heads
@@TylersReelFishing gotcha, no rush cause it’s very situational but it would be a neat content idea just for the out of pocket time someone could use it
Late to the party for this video but where were you fishing at in NY. I live in upstate NY and fish alot of grassy lakes and ponds. I do have a strike king jig just gotta grab some braid.
If I listened to the last 3 mins instead of walking away from my phone I would have heard that but I rewound it and was like oh you dummy he said where. Keep up the content hope your in NY again soon.
Lol at me throwing Texas and wacky rig on 6 foot medium lite st croix in and around weeds and fallen trees on 8 pound fluorocarbon. Good thing I never hook anything big
Tyler, is that a real coolfoot on your Ultrex pedal or one of TH Marine’s copy of my invention? I couldn’t see our logo in your footage. I invented the coolfoot in 2005 and in 2014 TH approached me wanting to buy our Hotpad for their Hotfoot foot throttles. Despite giving them a super low price, a couple months later they copied my invention. Sad this industry is so thick with thieves!
got a question for u bud. i live in MA and fish on a 200 acre pond with heavy milfoil and pads. i was absolutely destroying them on a chatter bait from ice out up until the spawn. ever since then the spinner bait has out fished the chatter bait 60-0 in the same spots on the same days. ive tried every color blade, skirt and trailer and i just cant get a bite on the chatter anymore. any theories on why this might be happening?
@@TylersReelFishing Oh, wow! Did not even know that could cause a difference! Guess I will slow down my retrieves! Thanks! Wanted to also say that I am pretty close to an expert dock skipper thanks to your video on it! I definitely catch bass when I get to skip docks!
Love your videos but sometimes there is a lot of “fluff” get to the point sooner, the stories and background can be interesting but sometimes want you to get to the point quicker. Still great and informs info, appreciate that for sure.
@@TylersReelFishing start out quickly giving us the gist, ex. Tell us what the 4 lures are right off the bat, then go into the detail on each one. Think of it as an executive summary. Dude that’s how grassy my lake are, great tips
Perfect timing, I’m stopping at Cabelas right before a big fishing trip
I have learned so much and caught so many more fish because of your videos. Love the videos!
Let’s go!!
THANK YOU TYLER!!! I NEEDED THIS SO GOSH DANG MUCH!!! YOU THE MAN!!!
Tyler, great video as always! A great combo of teaching and entertainment. Keep up the good work.
Awesome video as always Tyler. Everytime i click on it I know I am gonna learn something new. Today was no different!! Keep it up dude!!!
Heck yeah bud!
Yesss i love this video my pond in dfw area has so much hydrilla and grass but it carries so much fish
Email me about that pond if you haven’t yet!
That made me go.buy like 10 jigs love you tyler
Let’s go! I hope you used the links below to shop!
your boat wrap is sick
Thanks!
I use the Outkast flipping jig. It produces quality fish and numbers. The jig just gets the big mamas in the boat!
Yes it does!

Nice catches! Would have loved to have seen that Pike. Glad to see you enjoying your time in NY
Taking my daughter to one of her favorite fishing spots Friday night and it is a grassy one. This video was great. Thanks sir!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice vid as usual. A video recommendation- show all the combos on your boat and explain what you use them for.
I second they recommendation

Great information, but was really loving the fish catches at the end, definitely one of the best!

Of course!

Scrounger is usually an offshore bait on ledges. I’ll try, but I usually don’t have access to many of those scenarios

I really wanna try the Stealth Fieder, but my word it's expensive for a jig (a lure that's known for getting lost from time to time).
The only time I lose em is when a fish breaks me off. Just use heavier line
@@TylersReelFishing Im not as good or fish wrong areas. I get jigs snagged on wood stuff often, sometimes my own fault for setting into it.
Any chance we get a review video of that thundercricket rod?
Hello! I would like to know how many empty strikes you had with a anti grass fishing lure, befoure you catched a fish. Thank you!
Can you make a video about getting the right sizes of lures to get online, i always have trouble with sizes and orders online.
That all comes with time and experience. It’s really all about how deep you are fishing. Shallower = lighter
U should come to areas around pa.
It's the guuwwwshhhh for me when he catches a fish😂 but thanks for this vid it helped me so much

Yes. The "ength-chength" times
What is the trailer you are using on the chatterbait?
On the top water rod with the 65lbs braid do you use a leader?
Not gonna lie you have the best hair ive ever seen
Well thank you!
thanks for the respond on ig

Do a video on the split shot rig aka the mojo rig
Does a swimming jig work well for bank fisherman as well?
1000%. Just make more parallel casts down the bank instead of out into the middle
@@TylersReelFishing thanks
where in NY were you in this vid?
Hey Tyler, what do you think of the black and white Lews custom xp baitcast combo?
I don’t use many of the combos they put together for us. I make all my own. So both of those are good products, but I use them separately
Hey Tyler do you still fish at badger ranch
No, I don’t live in Waco anymore

Fish could have been conditioned to it. Spinnerbait will also outfish the chatter in water less than 1 foot
Tyler, do I need a H rod for frog and jig fishing? Or would a 7' MH work alright and offer more versatility since I don't have as many rods?
It could definitely work all right. But if you have to get a frog out of a really heavy cover, I would recommend a heavy, or a longer medium heavy
Where in NY were you fishing?
St Lawrence river
Every time I go fishing for largemouth, I don't catch ANY. Instead, I catch lots of Pike. What am I doing wrong?
You’re fishing either too fast, too flashy of lures, or in the wrong areas
