    Has anyone else ever wondered why blue Loctite comes in a red container? I’m no packaging genius but since they make red Loctite, and it very much is a different product, why don’t they put blue Loctite in a blue container. Thanks for the video. Very informative. Good looking rig.

    I've been back and forth between the RSI and the RLD. I prefer the mounting system for the RSI but I think the RLD is a stronger topper all around. Great video!

      @TheBHiveRV  3 роки тому

      Thanks for watching and I know what you mean, i ordered the RSI first but they are way out on shipping so i went with the RLD. I am getting used to the cap and will do a full review after a while but i can tell you RLD as a company have been awsome. Thanks for watching.

      actually RSI holds more weight. downside about RSI is that every 3 to 4 months or so you have to do some maintenance by re-torquing the screws. or else weather stripping in between the panels will start coming off.

      Trust me i thought the same thing when i played it back ;-) I had the frontrunner rack on my mind i'm going to do a video on it as well. Just not sure if i want to insulate the top of the CAP first. It gets hot as hell here in vegas and i'm thinking of putting reflective material on top. Thanks for watching :-)

    Brian, just started watching your install video. My cap arrived today and I'll be putting it on tomorrow. I'm in Maine and have to beat Friday's storm. Btw, rail system obviously requires 14 screws but mine also came with only 12! Quick question before I forget-does the gasket come pre-attached to the bottom of the cap or do you have to put it on yourself? Appreciate you providing this video. Looking forward to your electric/lights hookup. Thanks much, Dave.

      @@TheBHiveRV Mopar is crap. they know about the needed 14 screw/bolts and only put 12 in kit.
      just received my bed rails, only 12. Contacted Mopar they said contact the "seller"; Auto Ware house through Amazon.
      Pass the Buck, did nothing. disgusting.
      They are aware of Their mistake and expect someone else to fix it.

    You must be an aircraft technician/mechanic. Those guys have torque ratings for every kind of fastener, lol!
    A good thing though. No one wants fasteners comin' apart during flight!
    I have a Rubicon ecodiesel and I can't wait to get my cap. Guess the wait time is 2 plus months. Oh well.

    Hi, I got my hands on one of those caps. It has some cosmetic flaws (dents, scratches) but nothing major. It's just 2.5k so I am really considering it. My question: do you think it's possible to install it without the trail rail system by using C clamps?

      There is a lot going for it like the windows all being flip up. Things I don't like how the cap walls do not follow the same angle as the cab, it isn't the same foot print as the bed but the rail I stead, this pushes the cap further from the cab and the corners on the cap are not the same diameter as those on the cab. The bed corners are tighter to the cab making more of a connection
