i have a feeling phantom was made as a counter for noise maker. its an obvious loss once u kill the noisemaker cuz if u run away from the body, they'll know its u, and if you stay on the body, they'll also know its u

Unless you report it after a few seconds, acting as if your were close by and walked over and reported it and the imposter got away, though it wouldn't really work if the others were all in a group (I dont think they would kill in the first place if everyone was in a big group anyways)

They really said lets just take the swooper roll and tracker roll from the town of us mod for amoung us. Plus any oc players they town of us mod has so many rolls if your looking to spice up a few games with friends

New impostor role: Magician
Magician: The Magician temporarily hides a dead body.
How to use Magician: Kill a player / be next to a corpse, then there’s a button saying “Hide”. If you click on it, the dead body gets an animation before it disappears like a phantom, and is temporarily hidden from crewmate’s vision. But it’ll eventually reappear with the reverse animation
Now among us is going to be more chaos.
More intence.
And more dangerous
they need to add these to vr among us next, ik theres already engineer and vigilante, but phantom and tracker would be so fun
what i think the other new roles may be:
Crewmates:
Sheriff: Kill the impostor. accidentally killing a crewmate will make a siren.
Distracter: Use signs to distract the impostor. For example. add a sign that says FREE CREWMATES AT STORAGE!
Propturner: Turn yourself into a prop. The impostor cannot kill you if you are a prop. Has a cooldown.
Impostors:
Trapper: Trap other crewmates in a bear trap. You can kill them if they are stunned.
Exploder: Exploding yourself can kill 2/4 crewmates. You will respawn tho.
Taunter: Taunt crewmates with sounds. With a trapper. Its even easier.
Ghosts:
Respawner: if you died. you can have another chance. But if you die again. you can no longer respawn.
Teller: use chat to send a message to the crewmates. they will know who is the impostor.
Bored Cat: Being bored as a ghost? you can finally do any task! including your favorites. can be UNLIMITED!
Thats all my ideas. hope you like it.
Fixes:
The Distractor will send annoucements instead.
Teller role is now Scary Ghost role. by jumpscaring impostors.
Propturner role is now Doctor role. by reviving people.
Taunter’s name will now be Siren.

Nice they should add this
This has a few problems.
1. The Distractor is too obvious with the signs.
2. The Teller is basically not special cuz everyone can do that.
3. This isn't prophunt with the Propturner.
4. The Taunter should be called Siren instead. You know, the mermaid ones, since they do the exact same thing.

Crewmate:
Detective Finds and Kills the Imposter
If you see the imposter killing someone in the detective's range of vision, you will be given the option to eliminate him.
Impostor:
Fake worker You can do fake tasks, you can do things like swipe the card, scan and other tasks.

I like how everyone talks about how Among Us is dead when A talking about it at all and making jokes about sus and imposter and such is the exact opposite of being dead. It seems very alive just hated. And B how is it dead when Nintendo is secretly it's biggest fan?

Game developers: makes a game that has 20+ roles and continues to add MORE content and keeps an active presence with their game and community
Among us: takes 6 years to make it more than just crewmate and imposter
We can only hope that they bring more roles
Give the crewmates roles that help them discover who killed better just pls don't take another 6 years to do that

The impostor has a knife, a gun, can hack technology, kills players in one hit, can take the form of others and can now even turn invisible
They were just recreating TF2 Spy all along before our very eyes
I've said Amongus is just Clue geared for kids. Both consist of the process of elimination based off player perception and passed information.
And in Clue there are no rules against lying, even though the whole table starts not knowing who is the murderer. Including the murderer. That's kinda the only key difference. With Clue, not even the murderer knows who did it. It has more focus on finding the missing cards than eliminating the suspect. But randomly accusing a character just based off a gut feeling regarding their look or current vibe has a surprising 25% accuracy rate for both games, and it's not even supposed to be all that useful for Clue.
The murderer is totally random, and that's just one of a few variables that need to be accounted for, such as weapon and location.
The lobby music theme was the best of the update.
