After I grew up a little and realized razer products are terrible compared to their price, I decided to branch out into other companies. My favorite right now is corsair due to their design and quality.
+Oskar Langballe Jøssang But there's a reason Apple are mainstream, their products are usually of high quality. Razer however, are known for their awful quality.
+AntiHero R Their mice are fine, but their headphones are cheaply built and have shitty drivers. Their keyboards use(d) terrible key switches, and have inferior build quality to multiple other keyboard manufacturers (Corsair, Pok3r, Ducky, or even fucking Rantopad). I am aware that their recent keyboards started using proper Cherry switches, but seeing as CM Storm's Master keys keyboards are superior in every way, there's absolutely no reason to buy Razer keyboards.
I use loads of different brands for my gaming setup: Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB with Cherry MX Brown Switches Mice: I have 2. Logitech 502 Proteus Core, and a Razer Naga 2014 Mouse Pad: Corsair MM200 Extended Edition Headsets: Also have 2. For my PS4 I have an Astro A50 Gen 2, for my PC I have the Sennheiser HD 598's. Microphone: AudioTechnica At2020 with a RODE PSA1 Arm and a WindTech PopGard Pop Filter Monitors: 2 Acer K222HQL 1080p 60Hz Monitors, and 1 BenQ 2730Z 1440p 144Hz
Wow, beautiful recomendations Alex ! Thought you would review all of this stuff that I would already know but these items are truly amazing. There are definitely some things that i will buy in the near future. Thanks for the video !
I use razer because it works great for me. The razer Naga is by far the best mouse I've ever tried, having 12 programmable buttons makes everything easier, especially being a world of Warcraft guy.
Bought a random perixx gaming mouse off ebay 4 years ago and it still works perfectly. Its 5000 dpi, black and red accents and even has programmable buttons! The only bad things about it are that it has a thin cable and it's paint has rubbed off after many many long gaming sessions with sweaty palms :p. My keyboard is a standard dell multimedia one :)
Good stuff Alex, however on the Apple TV you don't need to mirror your Mac in order to watch Netflix. Why not use the Netflix app directly from Apple TV?
I'm using the ROCCAT Nyth. It's a really expensive mouse, but it's a very interesting mouse. It allows different widths, and allows you to 3D print your own buttons.. Perhaps something interesting for a review.
just started following you alex, I'm doing a house up to live in, and doing a lot of the stuff you have done vids on, hue system, projector led lights, so your vids helping
The thing is there's been apps/programs that do that for years. No extra price on them either that I know of. Just any old USB drive/flash drive. Hell I think one of them was even suppose to have a "light" encryption system.
No razer fanboying here either. For a keyboard I have a Microsoft wireless comfort 5000 (shhhh... it's awesome ;) ), my headset is from Logitech, my nousematta is from steelseries and for a mouse I found this hidden gem called Arachnid Cyclosa. That company doesn't even have a website but the mouse is, as you'd probably say, absolutely awesome! Great videos up on this channel so far! Earned a sub :P
I use a sharkoon sharkforce for my mouse. it's not customisable but it looks really sleek and only set me back £11! deffinately would recommend for anyone looking for a budget gaming/editing mouse
I use the cooler master octane keyboard and mouse gaming combo. Despite the keyboard not being mechanical the keys still have a really nice feel and the mouse is good too for the price and make great budget gaming peripherals. I think you should do a review on the cooler master octane and some other budget gaming peripherals. Nice video
As a avid gamer and a person who watched UA-cam, your comments on the mouse are just non sense , the dpi is hyped and u just did it, no one ever uses 10 000 dpi, not even 4000 , when u talk about a mouse talk about how smooth it slides, the built quality , if it breaks easy ,if it has some software or what games have u played with it. The rest was nice
No wonder that the chrome cast is so fast. You smartphone/computer is only the remote. The chrome cast itself connects to UA-cam or Netflix But awesome video!
Alex! I love this channel and your main. I've been with your channel since 20K and found your channel after searching for Setup Videos and found your first one and have subscribed since that. I love your personality but please, I understand you're professional idealism for this channel but don't overdo it. You seem a bit robotic, maybe you're nervous I dunno but just be yourself!
Move away from the mainstream
Apple guy... :P
Buys everything mainstream except a mouse and says don't be mainstream :/
+maron771999 tbf he does use windows :p
+HastoPVP very good point ;)
I read your comment the same time he said move away from mainstream ahah
There's a difference between good and mainstream
mouses????? I think it's mice
I am pretty sure the correct term is actually Mouses as you would refer to the living creature as mice not a product called a mouse..
+Deez You rekt him xDD
+Enji You actually say mouses when speaking of computer mouses. You only say mice when you are talking about the animal.
+Marcisco it is mice..
I was about to comment this.
When do you even use over 7000 dpi
Maybe when u r sweating out csgo trying to be a try hard at it maybe
I know right. More DPI doesn't necessarily mean it's better because it has more, but the mouse listed is good!
+BoostBar Gaming When u go tryhard on csgo you use a low dpi.... -.-" low = more accurat
u have got a point but maybe hi DPI works better for some people i mean it depends really what the person is used to
BoostBar Gaming Maybe in silver^^ :)
After I grew up a little and realized razer products are terrible compared to their price, I decided to branch out into other companies. My favorite right now is corsair due to their design and quality.
Madcatz is the same for me
+Jackie Plays Buy the Logitech g502, just do it, it`s awesome!
+GurraTheViking it really is
Tristan Barton Ik, it`s really worth the extra money of what the deathadder costs for example.
lol, in Sweden the deathadder costs 60 euro (600kr) and the g502 80 euro (800kr)
I'm surprised you dont have Phillips Hue in your car haha
***** omg seriously? I have you shown them in a video?
Battery Packs And The Lights On The Setup, I love the Lights so much.
I use razer naga ,Because i'm left-handed. Razer is the best company for left handed mouses.
I'm left handed and I use my right hand for my mouse
+SwiftGaming I know a couple of people who do.
There are a lot of people that play with his left hand, on the razer site, a stock of 250 mices are sold out in 1 month or something
Mice, please get it right.....
Do some research bro, razer is shit

+Midori Gaido Windows? Try blackberry
+anthony d Blackberry? Try nokia
+Rohan Joshi I tried and it was shit!
+Atlas-S Nokia? Try Ericsson
+mafiaskaterboy then stop looking into a mirror
"dont use razer, its mainsteam" but yet you're an apple fanboy...
+Oskar Langballe Jøssang But there's a reason Apple are mainstream, their products are usually of high quality. Razer however, are known for their awful quality.
+Tal Sterenberg But they're both expensive as shit
Not really, you're just following the haters herd, Razer gear is very high quality.
AntiHero R they aren't that bad by themselves, but when you compare to other products at the same price they don't compare.
I use the Blackweb ergonomic wireless mouse. literally same thing as the logitech mx performance but only $30
Alex I use Logitech amazingly they are way better than razed anther great video
how did you make your channel banner?
+The Joker I found a template Bro
Could you link it to me please?
+The Joker it was ages ago dude I won't be able to find it just type in Google UA-cam header template
Ok thanks
I use all! Razer, Apple, Logitech, Windows, etc. They all have their pros and cons but combine them all and you have some super cool gaming setups
Can you make a video on the Philips Hue? How everything gets connected + how to connect the bridge
"Razer is over hyped"...uses apple CLASSIC ALEX
For my peripherals I use the DLAND Zelotes Gaming Mouse and it can go up to a 7200 DPI. Each color represent the different DPIs it is on.
Bought 5pcs of the Gatekeeper keys thanks to your review.
Awesome!, thanks. The guys in our office with some higher access rights will be pleased :)
I've never owned any product from Razer in my life. I'm using the Madcatz R.A.T TE currently as my mouse. Best mouse i've ever had!
Alex you should do a review of the chrome cast!
Cooler Master? CM Storm series? A lot of bang for your buck.
its all about the corsair pc gaming peripherals; the best gaming mouse is the corsair m65 and the best mechanical keyboard is the corsair k95 rgb
I use loads of different brands for my gaming setup:
Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB with Cherry MX Brown Switches
Mice: I have 2. Logitech 502 Proteus Core, and a Razer Naga 2014

Roccat are pretty decent tbf 3 DPI settings

The thing is there's been apps/programs that do that for years.
