I have a long history with these. I've killed many of them but this last one I've had for 3 years. I finally got it. Great video with solid information.
Calatheas prefer around 70-80% humidity and warmth in the surroundings in order to come up with more extended leaves. Increases the humidity, and also, you can keep the plant in a bit brighter place if the plant is in a very shaded place. That will also help to increase the leaf size. It will be highly appreciated if you support our channel by subscribing to get more plant-based videos. 🌱🌱🌷🌷😊😊
Yes, all my prayer plants have slight brown tips & slight browning on the leaves is not a big issue. Prayer plants are understory plants and prefer an even supply of humidity(50-60%), moisture & temperature in their surrounding to keep the leaves hydrated & spot-free. Until we can provide the type of environment these plants are used to, in our places, they will show slight browning, here & there. ☘️☘️🌷
@@Plantalogyi keep mine indoors and spray them with water in the morning and at night but at night I put a cover over them to keep humidity at 50% and I have no brown spots even with hard water

Thank you for the information on the solid mix. How often do you need to water the plant approx in that chunky soil mix.

My propagated prayer plant's leaves are starting to yellow from too much sun. Does it matter while the roots are growing?
Simply move to a shade place (2-3 hours of bright indirect light). The plant will grow back. 😊🌷🌷
but all your prayer plants have brown tips? are the plants you show us in the video yours?
