- In today's episode the crew and I hit the road to check out the HQ of one of the legends of the Aussie toy scene, Tony B from Uncle T's Toys. We're let loose in his garage to hunt for vintage toys and other nostalgic collectables. We uncover all manner of vintage goodness from action figures to plush, VHS, promotional items, fast food premiums and other toys, from lines such as Matchbox Ring Raiders and Kenner's Real Ghostbusters!

It makes sense that Uncle T is a fan of Mr T. That garage was a toy diggers dream. So much cool stuff. As a plushie addict myself, I can tell you first hand that a vintage plushie collection can get out of hand quickly lol That Agro character is crazy weird. We had our fair share of childrens TV characters in the US as well. Glad you finally got your air carrier playset! I don't know anyone who collects Ring Raiders so it cool to see them featured on your channel. Another banger video my man
Yeah dude, we had a ball digging through that garage, that's for sure! Haha I'll bet it can, and a lot of the coolest plush toys are large and take up quite some shelf space. It's cool collecting an obscure line, there's not too much competition driving up the prices, and I'm always happy to fly the flag for Ring Raiders on the channel! Appreciate the kind words and support as always mate.

Oh thanks Dave, I appreciate it mate! Yep agreed, getting on the hunt with fellow collectors is what it's all about, and it was really cool to meet Nate AKA The Retro Tinker. Yeah I've seen Pull Speed Ahead a few times but have been holding out to find one with the elusive pull cord!

Haha yes indeed, the custom A-Team horse for Mr T to ride into battle was magnificent! It was definitely a treasure trove, I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Yeah I was stoked with the Air Carrier. Sometimes you'll not pick something up, and then weeks later you're still thinking about it. In those instances you know it's an item worth adding to the collection. Appreciate the support as always Luke!👌
OMG that Ultra Magnus doona cover thats hanging up, i need that! I have the pillow case from when i was a kid but the cover is long gone.

Great vides and Awww man the Argos Catelogs, they stopped doing them in about 2012 I think, they are ace and go for good money, best year for me is 86,87,88 they used to bring out 2 catalogs a year, winter and summer and yeah Argos is still here in UK but the catelogs are no more
Thanks Adam! Yeah man, that Argos catalogue was like a bible of everything on toy store shelves at the time, I'd love to find some from the late 80s and early 90s!
awesome work crusher, but, why was their so little coverage of Dan and his mo? the brief but glorious exposure we, as a society, had to that soup strainer was not nearly enough! More ‘tache time!
I can't disagree, in hindsight we needed a permanent camera on that glorious 'tache👨I imagine you share my disappointment that the mo' was gone for the last Mutagents livestram😥

Scott I had some ring raiders, serious memories there. Did you guys in Australia have connectable from matchbox? Vehicles and planes etc you could swap all the parts around so your car had wings etc.
That's awesome dude, always cool to hear from someone else who loved Ring Raiders! Sure, Connectables came to Australia, I can't remember if my brother or I had any as kids but I remember the commercials😁

Ah that's no good Henry, hopefully your toys are safe and secure at your aunties. My childhood toys were mostly given away as well, but I'm grateful to have a space to display my collection nowadays.
@ScottCrusher I've been slowly getting all the Master piece transformers , Neon genesis evangelion and Street fighter figures but I wish I could acquire those Ring raiders you have there 💯

@ScottCrusher So many. Transformers was the main one. Was such a thrill hunting down the VHS tapes for that. Also TMNT, The Real Ghostbusters, Inspector Gadget and Batman were big series for me.
I missed out on the Transformers hype as a kid, I was a little too young, but some of these shows still hold up to this day, Real Ghostbusters for example. I wouldn't mind going back and watching some that I missed!
@ScottCrusher I was born too late to see the peak of the Transformers hype as well. But luckily they kept re-releasing both the toys and the show on VHS in the UK well into the 90s!
Agreed about RGB, it's still a great cartoon! They were uploading episodes of it onto the official Ghostbusters UA-cam channel. Might be worth looking into?

Trying to figure out who the blue and red figures standing next to the ring raider carrier are.
Inside the cabinet? I think those are vintage Voltron figures, Robeast Mutilor and Robeast Scorpious possibly🤔
