I come back every few weeks to watch it again. Thanks for this beautiful piece.
Glad you enjoy it!
it started very well like a good looking cgi animation and once it turned into a love story with a twist it really hit me, nice work! 😍
Thanks very much!
This is one of the most beautiful films ive seen lately -outstanding work, truly.
Very kind, thanks :)
Great sound design and visuals. I always come back to this video.
Really nice work 👏 - it demonstrates that knowing how to use the tools is only half of the work - the real benefit is the creativity in the story, and everyone has their own story to tell. Well done.
Thanks very much Nick
This is absolutely amazingly done!
Thanks very much man!
incredible work. the detail of the house on the cliff top right is lovely
Thanks Miles! Ah good spot, those details are often the most fun to include
it was soo niceee!!!
Thanks!
beautiful
beautiful! very poetic
Thank you very much!
Not into love stories or heartbreak ones but this is some nice work man. Great
Much appreciated!
This was a great experience, thank you! And very clever use of resources.
Thanks very much Jarin
I love the environment but some things I noticed that really threw off the immersion was the running/walking animations, the level of detail on that center snow mountain and also the fog cards were stuttering. I love 1:36 it looks so real! was that quixel megascans in the bg? Even 1:50 is stunning with the movement and blinking
Thanks for the feedback! I wasn't 100% happy with some of the animations too, but this was my first time using characters, so I wasn't too strict with it. The background at 1:36 used the same mountains as the first sequence but rescaled and squashed as they would only be silhouetted. Then I scattered some spheres for the lights, low-poly trees and added 2 phone towers. So actually no megascans (for once!)
amazing
I keep coming back at this, fyi
This is very special 😄
you have a kind soul
Man....this looks awesome!
Thanks :)
as a creator, i hope you were able to move on and find solace in putting this together. keep putting all your emotion into your work it will surely pay off. that was very nice.
This is so good man , I love it!
Thanks :)
looks good.
Thanks :)
Shit I wasn't expecting this when I clicked on the video.
Something similar has happened twice in my life already, ever since the second time I've just distanced myself from relationships entirely.
Mostly because I'm honestly not sure I'd survive a third time.
Still, this is amazingly well done, I'm not sure I've seen anything that replicated that feeling as well as this did.
Also fuck you for the punch to the gut
Oh dude, I'm sorry to hear about that, grief is something that never really goes away. This project was my therapy for a while, so thank you for your kind words. Things will get better, I wish you the best.
amazing work and so powerful ... wow!
Thank you so much!
so beautifull
Thank you! 😊

The person that croos your mind while watching this video is the love of your life
Great video man, awesome use of colors and camera, although there are some small details that can improve and some technicalities but everyone miss on those at the begging, keep it up!
Also did the animation are retargets from maximo? and did you use the iphone facial capture?
Thanks! Yes they're all mixamo animations and iphone facial capture
This was dope! Nicely done
Thanks Andy

perfect 🤩
A fantastic and inspiring achievement combining great visuals with a heartfelt story. Shows the potential of desktop film making is now being realised. 🎥 Any future plans?
Glad you enjoyed it!
Keep posting brother ❤️ and would be great with a tutorial
Thanks! Maybe in the future
Deep........
Awesome.
Glad you think so!
nice work
Thanks!
Good stuff bro👍
Thanks 😊
Very Dope 🔥
Thanks Cyril
Omgggg I def cried. I can relate losing the love of your life and understanding why, how or what to do next. Great work!
I'm sorry to hear about your loss, it's tough but time really is the best healer. Thanks
Incredible cinematography! The characters would be great if they were stylized. That would have harmonized with the environment because the map looked like stylish art. But overall, it looks really top-notch. Keep it up. One question, how long have you trained your voice in AI? It's noticeable that the voice wasn't entirely generated.
Thanks! I used Altered AI trial so it wasn't an AI I've trained myself. It certainly could have used more finessing but I was running out of minutes on my trial.
what a view!
if only it was real...😅
Watched it before job interview, at waiting room :D Not a best idea
Yeah that’s maybe not the ideal viewing experience! Hope the interview went well 😁
@@ShaneSpenceDesign tbh i didnt expect that kind of a story :D , but i guess no one did. GJ
Is it a problem if I remake this all in blender but with different style. I'll give you credits for inspiration
Be my guest, I'd love to see your interpretation
How long did it take you to make this short film?
It looks me around 3-4 months as I was only really able to work on it for a few hours after work and the odd Saturday.
This must be time cosuming work, how much time did you spend on this?
I spent about 5 months, however I was only working on it for a couple of hours some evenings after work. It probably should've taken around 1 month
@@ShaneSpenceDesign I guess when you are doing what you like,it doesn't feel like work at all,😁
@@jimmygu9811 you got it! 😁
AI voice. Creepy MH expressions. The future of content is very unsettling.
Yeah still in the uncanny valley for now haha
Hello! My group and I are working on a Star Wars unreal fan film that surrounds the final battle between Revan and the Mandalorians. I happened to stumble upon your awesome video and was wondering if you wanted to collaborate in a minor of major capacity?
Hey! I'm afraid I'm not taking on any projects at the moment. Good luck with it!
FUCK MATE!!! THIS IS GOOD
Thanks man :)
Great visuals, music, and voice acting. But, the voice recording quality was near-garbage, weakened it for me. Otherwise awesome work all around!
Thanks Peter. Agreed, that's my least favourite part, but I'd ran out of credit on the AlteredAi account so couldn't do more takes haha
Is there an AI voice narrating, it sounds a bit uncanny XD
Yeah that's right, I used altered studio. I know it's not quite there yet haha! Voice actor's jobs are safe for now
Nice Bro Super Emotional🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😍😍🥰😍😁😁🤩🤩😍🤩🤩
