Are those people digital renders? If they are, this is the FIRST TIME in my life that I cannot tell them apart from the real thing. And if they are, that is, I think, the biggest compliment I could give. Stunning.
Bro even has got Unreal Engine 5 skills as well 🔥Epic. I feel like UE5 is a tool that is such a powerful previz/production tool in the hands of a good cinematographer or director, but many don't know it. Kuddos bro, you and your team did stellar. When comping in the characters, did you just create opacity masks on keyed footage and strategically choose your camera angles prior to filming? I know you've got a behind the scenes in the works but was super curious!
Hey, thanks! the heavy lifting was on the post-production team really. But we didn't key anyone in. It was all in front of a LED wall and was tracked real time

Any good tips that you're willing to share while working on LED sets that you might not expect from normal live action shoots?

Ощущение, что пиксели проглядываются, а щели в маске экрана точно заметны. Однозначно надо большой экран и расстояние для чего-то серьезного. Плюс задержка от треккеров небольшая наблюдается. Еще раз спасибо за проделанную работу, клёво было посмотреть на это. Сам наверное так и не попробую)
Wait, did you film the actors and composite it with the Unreal Engine footage as a sequence, or just film what you saw inside the box and use that? It looks like you've filmed the box?
We had the UE 3d environment on the LED walls and the vive trackers were tracking the camera’s perspective. I have a full breakdown of how we made it. It’s on my channel.
a friendly advice mate from my side put a little energetic way of saying on your videos then people will like you even more don't be like a dull person and i like this film of your's even a wanted make something like this and i have soo many sci-fi scripts with just willing work with a team

It’s half half. All the wide shots are renders. The medium and closeups are real people with a LED wall and HTC Vive motion tracking.

Giving the limited production circumstances the result is very good, congrats. I found the final text to be redundant tho.
lumen still have problems with shadows comapred to ray tracing but you can ray trace on a real virtual production set. only in post process.
