- Join me on the river Aire on the opening weekend of the season catching chub and dace... along with the pesky Pike ..... fishing with a whip, it is really simple easy fishing that anyone can do and get plenty of bites on the rivers now that they are finally back open again.
I don't think there is anything more enjoyable short session on the river getting a bite every chuck and you don't know what species you are going to hook next.

I'm glad that you can fish the rivers, because on the Norfolk broads where I live if you try to fish the rivers your bait spends more time out of the water than it does in the water because of holiday cruises
fantastic , used to love the rivers, but sadly the rivers around here have been messed up now. glad to see you having fun on the whip. bit of a species hunt, ha ha.

Beautiful spot to fish, a few hours on the river catching different spieces, enjoying your self, that’s all we need. I have lived in NZ for 26 years and when I lived in the UK I never saw a lady angler , good on ya, looking forward to your next video

Great video as always Kayleigh. I did find it interesting in what you said early on in the video when you caught a fish and its mouth and belly was full of bait, and you said you'd need to put more feed in. I've seen a few videos from other top angers who reckon that when this happens, its because there are very few fish in the swim and therefore get to eat as much bait as possible, and their advice was to cut down on the feed. Now I don't know what to do ha ha.
Yeah that is true! This was at the start of the session so I wanted to keep the bait going in to draw more fish into the swim! But it is true when this happens that there is usually not many fish there. 👍
Went down to my river last week 1 minnow probably otters wiped out the course fish.
