- Fishing on a tropical island catching a variety of species is there anything better...
Join me on the beach with a travel rod and a bowl of prawns in the hope of getting a few bites out of the Atlantic ocean. A stunning location where the fish are plentiful. I have no idea on what we catch so hopefully you will be able to let me know in the comments section below.

Nice to see you turn to the salt for a change. Do you ever dabble in sea fishing? Have tried mackerel on spinner or better still - fly. The fish you caught here look like bonefish, am I right?

Did you require a permit to fish those waters? Most places I go a permit is required. The World has gone mad.

What setup were you using? Sea rod or something from your match fishing gear? Never sea fished before on holiday. Looks good, would like to give it a try but wouldn't know where to start.
Well it beats sitting on your box with your little heater on around a lake at sessay that's for sure but I think you'll be visiting our neck of the woods soon no doubt . 🤣
5 hour flight to get excellent weather can't be bad Looking at Cape Verde for 2025 Which Hotel did you choose ? By the way we are not jealous at all about the weather 🙂

I couldn't do that in the resort we go to but I have ventured to the rocky side of the resort and had a few fish out ...
Never been able to identify some of them other than sea bream but still good fun ...

@@johnwarrenner4432 Think she probably took her own gear .I have just the rod for this sort of fishing A John Wilson travel barbel rod will fit in any suitcase That is why I asked which hotel So I could have a go from that beach 🙂
