My dear husband became sick with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsons Disease. His decline began in 2013 and by August of 2014 he no longer knew who I was. While still ambulatory he threatened me many times, pulled a knife on me and called the police on me. I never left him and was there every day until his death in December of 2017. I still cherish the 12 wonderful years we had before his illness. Faithful ’til death did us part.
There’s a lady at my church who is in a sort of similar but not as extreme situation where her husband has lost his mind rapidly due to rapid dementia. The loyalty she shows him despite this warms my heart. It seems to me that this kind of love is only really found in the church for the most part.

@@ronaldmitchell3665 Rich has a narrative that excludes many women. While my situation was extreme, I saw many spouses stand by their husband or wife through awful health trials. You will see many instances of true love and loyalty if you frequently visit an assisted living facility.
@@ronaldmitchell3665 My first reply to you was erased. I spent many months in an assisted living where I saw many examples of long term loyalty on the part of both husbands and wives. Rich doesn’t spend time in assisted living and hospital environments.

This a generalization. There are good women out there. I’m one of them. I’ve never been unfaithful and treat my man like a king. He’s the one that decided to be unfaithful and I’m still with him. I decided to give our marriage a second chance. This goes both ways. There are good and bad people in both sexes.

Basically, women can be loyal but they're hardwired to be under no obligation to be loyal.
However,
Women should know that when they go "chasing happiness" they aren't finding happiness just because they found something better than what they had *at that time*.
Life is a series of highs and lows, you will ALWAYS inevitably have low points from any high point. You will ALWAYS be able to see something that looks better when you are in one of these inevitable dips.
You're long term happiness and satisfaction in Life in relationships comes from sticking out the highs and lows with your committed partner and growing with them.
(Yes, there are legitimate bad relationships that have to be abandoned sometimes, but most of what I see today is women jumping ship whenever there's a dip trying to maintain the high point, then crashing and burning down the line.)

But even with many women who will never cheat in the sense that they have sex with another man, so many of those women in relationships will still have several disloyal behaviors. They will dress "cute" at the office in hopes of getting male attention from her coworkers. She will chat up chad from sales, john from church, Bob the soccer coach, Tyrone the cellphone clerk, etc. They will message Jonny, their old highschool "friend" and have chats with him that she would never show her husband those conversations. She will flirt with the cop who pulled her over or the bar tender when she is "out with the girls". and on and on and on.
