Great video man 👍 I installed one of these in my 04 Silverado. Along with a factory electric fan conversion. Cooling is a bit better than stock but the cooling capacity is greater. The system holds more coolant than stock. Definitely a lot stronger and more durable than a stock plastic radiator. Plus it’s not that expensive for what you’re getting. I think I spent between $200-$250 for mine. Something like that. It took me about half a day, and a few beers , to change out the radiator and do the electric fan conversion. Including pinning the computer for The e fan harness.
I am wondering about direct fitting, I read some reviews where the hose neck was smaller than oem, the mounting posts was off, and mounting bracket s was not same, and also the transmission line fittings are different threads! Has any one else had these issues?
Installed one in my C10. I took another gentleman advice and utilized 2 relays Instead of the one sent. My fans don't seem to kick off. Not sure what temp thermostat to use
So since it’s been awhile. How is it holding up. Still cooling good? And what t stat did you use with this set up. I’m about to install it and wondering if I’m gonna be replacing it in a few months.😊
What did you do with the two extra ports on the left side of the radiator? I believe they are for the oil cooler if one was present. Did you cap them off, or just leave them open and unlplugged? Great video, thanks!
It does look a little on the curved side, Alloyworks saw the video and is sending me a replacement although there are no leaks and the radiator is working flawlessly.
You wouldnt want one of these if they made aluminum radiator from factory they know there is suply and demand and like dude on top of my comment said plastic is cheaper for them to mass produce it
I bought one and failed in 5000 miles of freeway driving. I found people that had the same issue I did. The tubes fail where they meet the tank on the passenger side. Don't buy this!

What I want to know is, how well these radiators last. I'm looking to buy one for a 78 Ranchero. I want to make sure it will last.

I would have taken that oversized washer to the bench grinder. I just bought one, so we’ll see how she fits. (2009 Pathfinder).

I'm still running it in my Tahoe, It really is a good Radiator. I'm using a OE thermostat.

Not one problem, and it has been used daily from the day I installed it last year. The radiator is legit

leave it open doesn't matter if you're not using it!

None, Its a solid Radiator!
Could have done a coolant flush at the time.
No need I swapped out my water pump like two weeks before making this video
