Firstly thanks for the review in English I own one of these and i totally disagree about the lack of torque it's got plenty every where also you can tour on it i do I've ridden from England to the south of France (i have a high screen ) you can ride all day with this as fast as you like but as the man says it's not made for a pillion.one of the outstanding features is it's stability in fast bends its rock solid and totally planted .its also very economical due to the torque you can just stick it top and ride fast just rolling on and off the throttle if you do this you'll get over 50 mpg .the bike built is super solid and the gear box is as slick as they come and you don't need anything faster than this on the public roads.Suzuki get you act together and bring out proper luggage.more people should try these if you do i think you will be pleasantly surprised.
My favorite 1000PS reviewer, and with the usual honest opinions. Cool beard too. I really hope you guys will review the upcoming CRF1000L! Thanks for all your cool videos. :)
Good review. I'm a bit surprised about the lack of torque comments at low revs. The one I test rode had lots of torque from around 2,000 rpm. Great riding bike, lots of low to mid range torque, very nimble and light weight. I also thought the stock exhausts was one of the best I've heard.
Greetings from Puerto Rico. Thank you for reviewing this fantastic motorcycle and thank you very much for your time and effort to produce the videos in English. I own a 2009 Kawasaki Monster Edition ZX-14, but if I could, I would purchase the Suzuki GSX - S1000F in grey with the Yoshimura exhaust and find a smaller (not taller) dark colored wind shield. Long live 1000PS!
Right about 7-8k the power band starts and this thing moves. I think it is perfect. Plenty of power low and high in the rpms. I can do a wheelie no problem without popping the clutch. It is an all around enjoyable bike, whether on long rides or just cruising around. Will be putting an MCcruise control on it when i save enough money.
Liked the video. Informative. I do not see a web link to find the accessories for the bike. Nor do I see them on the Suzuki website. Can you tell us the link???
Hi and thankyou kindly for your review. You make a very interesting subjective distinction between the subtly different two versions of the same basic machine. What I don't get is the Dyno charts seem to show it has plenty of torque developed at 4,000 rpm, but like you say there's not much "get up and go" under 6,000 rpm. Yet the Z1000 has similar dyno torque figures but feels much stronger coming on from 4,000rpm? Any suggestions to why that is how it feels please? I am fairly sure in 4th gear the roll-on acceleration from 4,000rpm on the Z1000 would have much better oomph the GSX S1000. But a real live compare test would be good :)
Neil Cole No they are not. Most reviews of this bike are from sports riders who don't understand that this bike is Suzuki's sport-touring offering. Except it is fuck all use for touring. Obviously this was going to have very low sales. Ridiculous to offer a touring bike that can't take luggage or pillion very well. This is only useful for touring if you are travelling alone with a small tailbag or backpack, just like you could on any sports bike.
@@columkenn if Suzuki made an integrated pannier solution this bike would do well as a sporty tourer. Is super nice to drive it - just need that need of luggage... And btw.. find a wife with a bike of her own to tour with 😉
Decent review, but would it be so difficult to imbed statistics over the video? The video would have improved tenfold had data been smuggled in, like fuel consumption, maintenace schedule, cost of OEM "accessories", tire information, gear ratios, and more. I do like the style of review though, no shouting or squid shenanigans. Thanks.
Good job on this. If Suzuki would have given this bike reasonable passenger accommodations and at least the option of integrated luggage, I would have been interested, but as it is, the bike is too limited in its uses.
oh jess this is a top touring bike ai normally goes just around 800 km per day when going south from Denmark whit no problems and no pain if you haw a top box and ai wet sack be twin you and the top box it gets Ewen more Stabil at heigh speed the fearing glass are only efficient op to around 150 kmh but ai have added a deflector on top and that works op to 180 if ai wont to go faster than that i haw to bide the tank not that the bike cant go over 180 but it gets un pleasant on longer runs mine is flashed whit yosimura maps so it goes ower 290 at the top
i think its a gsxr version meant for the ageing men who rode the sport bikes in earlier years...still the great sporty engine but with better upright ergonomics to satisfy the ageing fans! I wish my bandit had 145 poines!
It looks like a bird. I like the naked version better. I'm waiting to see what Yamaha MT10 looks like before I make a decision on which one to purchase.
Du solltest immer englisch sprechen...gefäält mir besser :) klingt irgendwie ehrlicher ...habs gekauft...un 10 Oktober geht es damit nach Mettet, Belgien....danke für die Empfehlung

Das ist gut! Less talk, more action video, including drone shots! What a bike!

Good Review, I also like the mat gray!!
I agree, the gray on the F looks good, and the Blue on the Naked looks good.

im still looking for that exhaust
Have a 2016 gsx 1000f. Love it.
I took one for a test ride and I loved it. I am a commuter so think it will do well as my next bike, although I am also thinking of the Tiger 800 XRx

How is it compared to the Kawasaki Z1000SX?
Robin Michalik You can tour with luggage and pillion on the Z1000SX, you can't with this.
Suzuki are on to a winner with this one!

very good review. not sure which color I would pick.
could you post a link to the yoshi evo exhaust?

Motorcycle Extremist Mind-boggling that a bike manufacturer offers a Sports-touring bike that can't tour.
nice honest review ,and not to serious but you put the point across that's its a great bike
so meant for touring but not long trips ,,im confused
I love this bike and it will be my next bike very soon...
great vid mate well done!!!!!
What were they thinking with those ugly handle bars ?
oh jess this is a top touring bike ai normally goes just around 800 km per day when going south from Denmark whit no problems and no pain if you haw a top box and ai wet sack be twin you and the top box it gets Ewen more Stabil at heigh speed the fearing glass are only efficient op to around 150 kmh but ai have added a deflector on top and that works op to 180 if ai wont to go faster than that i haw to bide the tank not that the bike cant go over 180 but it gets un pleasant on longer runs mine is flashed whit yosimura maps so it goes ower 290 at the top
Great review😃😎
Good reviews ! In English is more better ! Thumb up 👍🏻already subscribed ! Which one you prefer Yamaha MT-10 or Suzuki GSX S1000F
Finally ENGLISH!!!!!
genau!! at last !!!...but not for long, dammit!!!
Sport touring bike?
bailey9r Just a sport bike they tried marketing as a tourer, that can't tour with luggage and pillion.
If only it would not have that constant throttle problem because of which is almost impossible to drive at constant slow speed in traffic....
i think its a gsxr version meant for the ageing men who rode the sport bikes in earlier years...still the great sporty engine but with better upright ergonomics to satisfy the ageing fans! I wish my bandit had 145 poines!
Exactly right AND really it's more like 155+ HP I'm told.
yeah im not surprised, it'll kick my bandit1200 ass anytime!
It will be interesting what Zero Gravity comes out with to replace that wind screen.
Nice video!!!
I think I want one in red, black blue and grey... Why buy just one.
It looks like a bird. I like the naked version better.
