Your best bet is to just go get another carburetor to put on the truck bcause I don't think that shrink tubing is going to hold 🤔 & also Motorcraft carbs are the bottom line of carbs,your best bet is to find a replacement carburetor either a quadrajet,eldebrock or a holley carburetor

You’re correct in that assessment. Decided to just get it where I can pour fuel down the throat for the fire up and go from there.

Never seen a serpentine belt system on a 79 before?
Personally never seen a serpentine system from the factory on 79 ford f150.
