I've found that flying is kind of like riding motorcycles. Uneventful flights with friends are usually the best kind. Laid back and easy fun. Thanks for sharing!
That smoker is actually really practical. I always thought of it as a show thing, or a gadget to fart in someone's general direction with, but for bush flying this makes total sense. DIY ATIS.
Love the videos! I watched one of your past videos that I cannot find again. What was the name of the aircraft insurance company that you mentioned? I am up for renewal on my Cub and shopping for options. Thanks!
..and you clicked on the link, then beheld another amazing backcountry flying edit. (If there is a joke involved it’s a sad one. A Husky is $500k now? I remember when they were under $100k)
Regarding your weird effect of FreedomFox being faster when banking, turning, bouncing around. I wonder... might it have something to do with wing loading? High performance gliders fly races with several hundred pounds of water ballast to improve their speed. Is it possible that FF generates so much lift that with just you in high speed cruise it has to be pointed slightly downward and the fuselage gets draggy, like a sideslip, just in the vertical axis? How about: * adding ballast in the right places (might be troublesome with the weight limits) * modifying the flaps to allow a setting for high speed cruise (e.g. -5 degrees) * something completely different that I'm not thinking about? (taking this with a shipload of salt is recommended, I'm neither a pilot nor an aviation engineer, I'm just thinking about stuff... ;-)
Trent & Hailey - been following you 3 - 4 or more years, love your stuff!! This is a little different drone use, but I follow these guys, too. First time they've done anything drone related. Thought you might be interested, or more likely already know about these! THANKS for what you both do 👍 Rich P., Lodi/Woodbridge area, NorCal. ua-cam.com/video/ZDyPfNBnQ0o/v-deo.htmlsi=Tz24Lyw1nhGO9J-k
Half mill for a certified bushplane. Unless you going to use it commercially, can't see the point. I would rather have an experimental Kitfox, and hoon about wherever the heck i want... 200 grand woukd go a long way.
Same has happened in camping/overland. 75k dollar compact offroad trailers with a tent and a china made kitchen. Its insane these are 100k much less 500k.
@@MillerMachineWorks bull, you do quality assurance and you self insure. no insurance is worth 5x'ing the product price. besides USA doesn't seem as litigious in recent decades
"Some Kit Foxes are pulling 200"
I wonder who's fault that could be LOL
A casual day out flying...is a pretty good day.
Even your “casual day of flying” makes fantastic content. So beautifully done as always.
Always a great day when Trent posts

Trent, you make it so much fun to watch. Thanks. Flying back to your home landing strip is so special.
Great morning flying with friends...cool.
Why did the Fox invite the Husky and the Cub to the party? He knew it would be "Fur-tastic" time!
That's so bad it's good.... Paw-fect puns right there!! 🥹
Good morning from Minnesota! Fun episode!
Nice ! The new birddog laying down a smoke trail for the team. 👍 Safe sky’s. 🤙
Yeah the south end of the smoke creek desert is a hidden swampy mud trap. Lol!
Thank you Trent! Great video!
500k! Thats crazy. I would rather spend 1/4 of that on a maxed out kit fox or J3
Same lol
Or half of that for a Zlin Norden.
Trent would be such a dope instructor
Love the alvord videos!!
Huskys are so much a cub. Your new prop looks beastly and awesome. Great video thanks Trent
...............G'day, nice fun. Cheers and God bless, Malcolm.
Missing the desert and flying together 😟
The deal breaker for me why I would take a kitfox over anything. Side by side seats!
Went across smoke creek, dead cow, and black rock last month on dirt bikes. Smoke creek still had mud under the crust
Trent, guess maybe we should begin calling you "Smokey!" 🤣😂🤔🇺🇲👍😎

I missed the punch line ??? A kitfox A husky and a cub go into a bar and ??? Lol
3 dog night?
It’s a location joke 😉😉

Trent. I really like the music you use. Can you share titles and artists? Thanks.
Outstanding video. Have a great day.
Sterling! I thought I recognized that Husky 😎
That Husky's pretty! Id still rather a Kitfox, being an astronomer, I wanna name mine StarFox, but that Husky is tempting...
could you please bring back the retro full frontal cap. I would by immediately
Trent, your sound design is so dialed!
Are you done doing group trips to KOSH?
I need to get MVU out there to the desert!
Great video as always mate.
Has there been any update on Nikk Audenried he seems to have disappeared. He only made three videos on the kit fox build.

I love the footage. I know exactly where you are.
Trent how are you liking the new Catto?
Country music is just farm emo.
What is the name of the lights in your hanger?
Thanks
...any flying with Juan Browne in his Husky?
Love this content.
No Oshkosh again, for you this year Trent?
More like iron eagle than top gun lol cracking video but wow
You going to Oshkosh?
What’re your GoPro settings!?!
Don’t like the ‘naked’ prop. Looks as though you forgot a bit when putting the new prop on, needs a spinner. Great vid though!
can we get some more offroad videos?
with the raptor

Guy's I've got one on Amphibs if you want give it a try?
The Husky said, look at that cute little airplane …
So how can we come fly with ?
Trent, silly question here.. When you go flying how do you find your way back to your house?
GPS
No wait, I've heard this joke....😂

half a million dollars for a used 1930s design canvas plane? has everyone in aviation become an alcoholic?
