I was helping my mom take care of my sister who had brain cancer she loves Simon and Garfunkel and I love Willie I would play her this video up until the day she died God bless Willie Nelson!
I enjoy both Paul and Willie singing. This particular song shows the curious nature of humanity that we grow up and leave our homes to find ourselves and our lives and yet we long to be home.
Two of the most talented singer/songwriters of the last 100 years doing a great rendition of a fabulous song written by one of them. Honest, earthy, heartful and well executed. Still 680 people with probably no talent or knowledge of what greatness is turned the thumb down. I shouldn't be surprised but I am truly grieved. No other word for it.
Ha ha - I actually missed that one. The song did take me back to different times when it seemed we were more free - and our big worries were something of a different nature.
Who would have guessed that these two great musical legends did a song together? I wouldn’t have, but they did, and it’s great! Thanks for sharing it with those of us who love them both, but had no idea how well their musical styles and voices merge together!
Never have I been so touched by a Willie song before. My mom died in 2016 and she truly was Willie’s biggest fan. I heard more Willie music as a child than anyone I bet. I never appreciated it until I lost my beautiful mother and sat and listened to all of his albums she left for me. My mom lived a “hard life” as some may say, but I know she loved me and lord how she loved her Willie!! I wish I could go back in time and listen with her and appreciate and love it the way she did. Love you mom!!
I just stumbled on this by accident. Absolutely INCREDIBLE. Two of my favorite musicians. I've been luck enough to see them both in concert, twice. Now it's obvious that they should have done more together.
Willie is sadly an underrated legend, and Paul Simon is a legend himself. The thing about Willie, he's a legendary songwriter, actor, and can cross with any, and every genre. GOD BLESS WILLIE NELSON!!!!!!!
Both are superstars and kings in their styles of music, there is no comparison between them. Willi is a master of country music his voice mighty beautiful and evergreen ageing has no effects on his voice amazing.

Maybe this is the majesty of Simon & Garfunkel. Their lyrics and songs are open to so many individual interpretations yet the message remains the same.
Two great performers on stage together. Different genre different ages yet the song and the personalities seem to fit like a pair of fine gloves. Those were the times my friend.
