I'm that East Texas country girl who cut off both ends..Thanks for sharing your green beans..lol I've been cooking them 7 minutes..🤦🏾♀️.. now I will make them delicious greens for my whole family I'm sure my St.Lucian hubby will luv .💐💐💐😘😘👌🏾
It’s interesting to see how different everyone cooks things. My mom cooks green beans in bacon then adds butter, salt/pepper and crushed red pepper. She’s from the south
I always find it amazing how people have their own cooking styles and all look delicious. My husband is from the south too. I also get amazed by the variation of the names in diff regions ❤️
Sounds delicious 😋
thats the southern way with some potatoes but I'm trying to stay away from grease so I came here for a new recipe lol
Yummy I love green beans. Thanks. God bless you!
Thanks for stopping by :)

Hi Terri -Ann. I cut the tips off mine as well.
It turned out very delicious. Thanks Terri-Ann
I always leave my tips on at the bottom and cut the ones at the top...these look delicious 😋
Just ordered my beans so I will be having it tomorrow, thank you.
Yasss
Since I was a kid of 5 or so, helping Momma in the kitchen, we were taught to clip both ends of the bean. We broke the off w/our hands.
Can I come over to your house right now I’m really hungry , everything looks delicious, thank you for sharing your recipe.
I came across your video and decided to make these. WOW!! They’re amazing!!! Thank you so much for this recipe!!! Just subscribed!
I am loving the sweet trinbago pan music 🇹🇹
Your cooking method was delightful. I really appreciate that you didn't over cook these lovely vegetables. Fresh green beans taste much better when they are "lightly sautéed" rather than intentionally "over cooked"!!!
I used to have to pick the ends off by hand and my mother would be overcome with embarrassment when I accidentally left the ends on any of the ones that were served to guests 😊
Thank you very much for sharing ! You are the best!
Hey Terri Ann making this recipe again again and again 🤣🤣🤣 today I'm paring it with your jerk honey garlic salmon recipe and some green boiled plaintain 😋

Can’t wait to try this recipe! Can I ask… what kind of pan are you using to cook the green beans? I’ve seen it in several of your videos and it looks like it cooks extremely well.
Hi it’s just a non stick frying pan I got from Tesco in the UK
easy to cook and delicious

I'm not sure why the cook time was so short these beans were still raw too me
Team cut off
Cut the tips off
This is right on time! My friend blessed me with about a pound of fresh sweet green beans from her garden. They're so sweet, I eat them raw as a snack.
Yes…I cut the tips off both ends as well!
In jamaica we leave the pointed part on it ix believed to have medicinal benefits, it helps with regulating the blood sugar level,it is even adviced that you drink the water after boilingit.
I’m Nigerian and we cut off both ends as well.
I’m not Caribbean, and I cut my tips off. I think they present better on the plate, and I don’t like the stringy tips anyway.

@@TERRIANNSKITCHEN yesss 🤣
Can I come over pluhheeaseeee lol 😝
Just made this! It turned out good. Tastes almost like grilled/roasted asparagus. I didn’t put enough slices of garlic, so I added garlic powder!
Then I’m mad because I didn’t cook enough green beans because I didn’t know If I was gonna like them. They turned out pretty good and now I want some more 😫😂
I'm indian and we chop the tips too!
Im team cut the tips😂
I do both ways but cutting the tips off tend to taste better!
This look so good and delicious. I also cut off the tips as well🥰
I’ve done it both ways. The time I left the tips on the beans tasted kinda tippy, but when I cut them off they tasted like something was missing.
I snap the ends off.
This is just what I was looking for. I just harvested a big bunch of green beans from my garden. I can see from your page we have similar tastes. I love to cook and make UA-cam videos too. I hope we can learn more from each other. Thank you for your inspiration for tonight’s dinner!
Momma calls them snap peas because to use a knife on a bunch at one time is a waste of beans. Instead of lining each one up with a knife, just snap the ends off of each one. It is slightly longer than using a knife on a bunch, but you get more of a bean this way...especially when you have a lot of mouths to feed.
If they are super fresh, like yours, I leave the tips on. If they aren't so fresh the tips get cut off. I can't grow them any more so can't always get the freshest.
These green beans look good, but I’m used to black peoples green beans with smoke turkeys, I know it cooks the nutrients out but it’s good
Wow this looks amazing yummy 😋
Yes we do the same as you thankyou gifts s enjoy journey honour thanks
Wow you did great my friend 👍🏾
I subscribed as soon as you said “Saka fete”
I take off the stem end, but not the other end.
I cut the tips. They go in the compost.
Yes I cut off the tips, we’re from the south
Why didn't you mention to add water?
I’m leaving tips on less work
Please more vegetation thanks
Yes I do the same I cut them off!
