To make a loaf of bread spray your loaf pan then put 3 cups of self rising flour 3 tablespoons of sugar and 12 ounces of cheap beer (room temp). Mix will be sticky but put it in loaf pan and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Baking takes out alcohol cause beer is yeast. Just 3 ingredients. You can do it.

    Brooke Southerland,
I made this recipe into gluten-free bread. I followed your instructions to the T but used King Aurtur Gluten Free Measure For Measure Flour, and I put 1 TBS of Apple Cider Vinegar in with the wet ingredients. This is the best GF bread I've ever made. Just like you explained, it's nice and soft on the on the inside. Normally, the gluten-free bread gets very dense, but this has not.
Thank you for your recipe... you've given me even more inspiration. 💕

I’m so happy to see you making bread. It’s so easy and so delicious. The more you make it the easier it gets. When you press out your rectangle that’s the time to sprinkle cinnamon and raisin to make cinnamon/raisin bread or make cinnamon rolls, just add a few more tablespoons of sugar to your recipe for a sweeter dough. The sky’s the limit. ❤😊 have fun.

Also, I will go to the bakery outlet to get bread items cheap, name brand items for $1.25 a loaf on any bread, donuts, tortillas, hand pies, baked goods you name it they have. Our follow-up thoughts...
      1) As Aussies, this Trevor was WAY to sweet for us. Too sweet to be a general sandwich loaf. I think I could cut the sugar by half and it would still be on the sweet side fur our pallets 🤫🫢
      2) it was absolutely super soft! Gold Star fur you, Brook!
      3) watch the loaf/s during that second proof after shaping! I let mine go a little too long and the top stuck to the cover which spoiled the shape and finish of the loaves.

I set it to basic white setting, mash the button, and wait for the beeper to go off. Otherwise it is ready when I get back from work. When I worked at a preschool for the afternoon shift I didn’t get home until 6 most days(always a late parent to pick up) so I used my bread machine and crockpot almost every day and I wore out my first bread machine while working there. They sure made life easier for a working mom and I didn’t have to do any cooking after getting home from work. Next time you are in Walmart, Take a picture of the back of the Gold Metal Bread Flour recipe for White Bread and try that recipe. I can't cook worth a durn, but I've made that bread a thousand times and it is so fluffy and wonderful. I half the recipe to only make one loaf at a time, and I hardly kneed it, not like the recipe says too, but it has never failed me. I use lard as my grease, and spray my bowl and pans with cooking spray. The loaf rises so tall and is so soft. When it's done remove from the pan and put on a cooling rack, I paint the tops with butter and the bread never gets hard. Put it in one of those 2 gallon baggies to store.

few tips.....put some oil or spray like pam on your hands before touching the dough and it will not stick to your hands at all.....check your mixer, mine says level 3 for dough but i stick with level 2.....if it's a kitchen aid most youtubers that make bread say never above a 2....you can also preheat your stove for the 30 mins it's sitting on top of your stove if your house is chilly and that provides enough warmth for rising or back in the oven like you did the first time....and adding a tsp of potato flakes per loaf in your recipe (2 tsp since your recipe makes 2 loaves) also creates that softness......if you liked any of your other loaves and the crust is too 'crusty' for you, after it comes out of the oven, coat the loaf in some melted butter with a brush and it softens the crust....i love making bread, but i'm still searching for a loaf recipe that is a good sandwich loaf recipe for the large pullman pan that has a more store bought taste (my kiddies are so so picky!!) the last tip i have, is if your loaf is slightly dryer after the first rise, instead of using flour which will add to the dryness (not the case with the bread you made in this video!) then brush some oil on your counter to shape it out instead....like you said, humidity plays a roll.....love the videos, gonna try this recipe next loaf of bread i make.....i think this recipe will be great for a 13" pullman pan for a sandwich loaf! stay safe and thank you for all your content!

prepare the loaf but instead of putting it on a mold slice it- and make a hole in the center of each slice- take a flat pan and boil water and when its boiling drop the slices and turn them no more that one minute- take them out and put them in a o pan then bake them at 425 until golden brown about 10 12 minutes there you go bagels

Beautiful bread loaves. You can roll them into balls let rise and use as rolls or hamburger buns 😊

I can’t wait to make this, I only have one “bread” recipe I’ve been successful with Phyllis Stokes and sons Angel Biscuits, here on UA-cam. She’s no longer with us, do her loving son took over her channel to keep her legacy alive, and he’s a darn good cook too.

The local Amish store sells homemade bread for about $5 a loaf. Homemade will be much better quality than the generic Walmart bread.

I use a bread maker and find it super easy, way cheaper, and sooooo good. Here is the recipe in case you're interested.
In the bread maker add, in this order, 1 cup of warm water, 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp honey, 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 cups flour, and 3 tsp of yeast. I set my bread maker on the soft bread setting and it makes amazing bread! 😊

Hi Brooke, Love the recipe. Can I use margarine instead of butter(butter is super expensive here) and can I use a different sweetener other than honey? (Real Honey is expensive and may contain bee pollen and bee parts and my family is very allergic to bees and pollen) Thank you for your time and considerations. Have a great day.

Thanks Brooke I love homemade bread with homemade honey butter on it !! Your bread looks delicious , and you’ll enjoy making it for the family especially since you’ll save money doing it, and you can have garlic bread all the time if you want to make it with your own homemade bread ! Thanks for sharing this recipe with us! I make homemade bread and add in 1 & 1/2 cups of Basic 4 cereal and it makes a delicious bread and serve it with my honey butter !! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈

Hello Brooke this recipe is very similar to the amish white bread recipe that i make the only difference is the honey i use 1/3 cup sugar I might tweek mine and try the honey. Another way to proof your bread is turn your oven light on and put your bread into proof. Great job Brooke!
