I found your channel by accident out of curiosity as my daughter and her teens are touring America in their new RV. I am now a bonafide fan. I love your videos, your narration and especially your voice. Was not at all surprised to learn you are an entertainer. Love your music! Thank you very much for the videos. I usually watch only sailing around the world videos but now I am hooked on traveling America with you!
Thanks Robert. Your videos are a real treat for this 82 year old native Floridan who has never been to most of the Florida areas you present so well. Again, many thanks.
As a Florida native (originally from Tampa) who now lives in the Washington DC area, watching this video has reminded me of all the wonderful things the Sunshine State has to offer. Thanks for bringing back great memories! #homesick
I just discovered your traveling videos a few weeks ago and was so thrilled.! With the Corona Virus going around I’ve been staying home most of the time, and watching your videos, I can tour across the country without spending money on gas or going on very long rides. I can also drink beer and not have to worry whether under the legal limit. I’ve always loved RV’s but the closest thing I’ve had to a real RV was a ford camper van. My Dad gave it to me as my first vehicle when I was 17. It had a stove and a sink and the top popped up and there was a hammock you could unfold. I often slept up there while it was parked at my parent’s house in Chicago. I loved to hear the rain falling on the roof. I slept better there than in my own bed. It even had a screened window in the top. I would also just hang out there and read, and sometimes my friend would walk by and stop to chat awhile. I maybe some day I’ll find a small rv that I can pull around and do my own exploring
Thank you for sharing your, three year, journey with us. We can't help but smile at your background music, every time we here it! It's so simple and easy to remember. It's such a pleasant way to start our day. PLEASE be safe! Irma doesn't look like a storm to ignore. Ted & Lee Ann
We have been subscribed to your channel since January 2016 . In May 2016 we moved from Smyrna , Delaware ..to ..New Smyrna Beach , Florida . Your channel has shown us so many great places . Thank you for all your work ... videoing.. editing..etc. We look forward to each new video . David and Maggie .
Great compilation. Started to watch your videos both on UA-cam and Amazon Prime. Finally virtually met your wife in this one. Now I want to buy a small camper and explore more of this country starting here in the northeast. Thanks for posting you're excellent videos.
OMG! This was an EXCELLENT video! Your narration was perfect!! Very impressive! I said to myself halfway through the video, “I’ll bet he’s a DJ or some radio personality, he is so good at this!” Ta-Da!! I was right!
Just like you're hunkering down on the east coast, I'm hunkering down on the west coast(Clearwater). The last time that the Tampa Bay area took a direct hit from a hurricane was in 1921. Hopefully that record will be maintained for many more years. I'm sure that people from other states wonder why Floridians are willing to put up with a six month hurricane season every year. The answer is so simple. We aren't willing to give up our mild winters. So, as you know, it all boils down to a trade-off. We put up with six months of scorching weather and the possibility of hurricanes, so we can spend the next six months in a winter paradise. I've been doing this since I was born in Clearwater in 1954. After 62 years, it's just plain normal to me. I've never known anything else. And so it goes. May God keep you and your loved ones safe from harm. Take care, Robert, my fellow Floridian!
Robert Thanks for showing your trip narrative, great video and locations. Be careful brother. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Take care God bless.
Hi Robert. Excellent video as always! Whenever i want to relax i watch a few of your vids. Very calming & theraputic so cheers! I hope the coming storm doesn't cause you any poblems. Best of luck & thanks for all the good vibes :) Stay safe matey....
You are eaten alive by the bugs called no-see-'ums. You can't see them they're so small but they bite the heck out of you. We camped once at John Pennekamp, and when we came back to Zephyrhills, we had all these red bumps that we had scratched around our ankles. We love the Half Raw Oyster Bar! -Clara Lucia from Zephyrhills
Great video. Im very impressed with my 1706FB. Wednesday of last week we had a micro-burst here in central Florida. Heavy rains, 60MPH Winds and about 8” of golf ball size hail. The only damage sustained by my trainer was the center roof vent and the black water tank vent were completely destroyed. The skylight in the shower was cracked. I quickly got it dried up and everything sealed. My replacement parts arrive this week and I’ll be back to normal. BTW the glass and fiberglass sides are in perfect condition. Safe travels.
Fantastic informative video Robert. Didn't know about many of the things shown and this has given me ideas for our next trip to Florida! Stay safe this weekend.
I could not stop myself from imagining that succulent lobster. I wouldn't have walked that alligator trail either. I hate walking into spider webs. It's hard to imagine some folks could care less about seeing a beautiful sunset. Rich or poor a sunset is a beautiful gift that anyone can enjoy. Please take care.
TravelingRobert Grandma Patty For spider webs, move a stick around in a big circle in front of you while walking. Everything gets on the stick instead of you.
Robert please tell us how you are doing and if you have left florida. Its going to get bad as i know you know. Please dont try to stick it put bring your nom and wife and family to chicago your always welcome here
Be safe Roberto, sounds weird coming from Cape Fear (Wilmington, NC) where we were hammered by Fran, Floyd, ....and last year Mathew......this time Asheville is getting some Tropical Love.
Take good care, Ryan ! Pray ! Yep, I remember those storms ... especially Fran. I live outside of Chapel Hill but my Dad's house is on Canal Drive in Carolina Beach. Blessed *Lᴏʀᴅ* have mercy on us all !
Ha ha I didn't know grey goose was a runner up. Cool name but Minitini is best! Irma scaring us all the way up here in Gainesville. We hunkered down and ready. I hope not too bad for you. Our roads packed northbound with RVs and campers! Love your vids thanks Robertico!!!
Awesome, as usual👍 Great memories, info, photography & narration👏🍺 Hoping you and your wife have gone North and are safe from the incoming Irma. Prayers are with you 🙏
Your idea of the Trailer Cam is OUTSTANDING! You mentioned that you're a musician. What is your instrument? I like to play trumpet in the local community band. I hope you have taken a quick trip out of the Sunshine State...at least for the next week. Stay safe.
I hope u and ur family are safe. I left a message in another video for u guys. I am praying for everyone in Florida and everywhere these Hurricanes have hit...
Hi, Robert, hope you and your family have come up to higher ground? I've been tracking hurricanes for many years and never seen one like Irma. Youre welcome to stay with my & my family here in Atlanta, now worries, my friend.
Hi Robert, what else can I say after watching this new great video of yours?Another magnificent jewel to your crown buddy.Well done.By the way take care out there please as the predictions as to that hurricane Irma sound quite ominous regarding Miami. Greetings from William in Bruges,Belgium
Could you have a video about your tow vehicle of choice for towing your camper. For example wear and tear and long term ownership of that preferred tow vehicle. I’m looking at the Jeep Jl 4 door or the upcoming Ford Bronco.
