    Not sure on how old caespitosa pup, i've heard of seedlings pupping occasionally but it depends on their conditions and genetics. They propably wont grow another head until the spring when they start growing again.

      @@sanpedromastery6262 it's impossible to tell tbh, could also be years from now but if you're experienced in taking care of them it will obviously be faster. If you want a large specimen I recommend grafting them.

    Love your videos Jerry! Awesome to see more from you. Can I ask how many hours are you running the indoor cacti. I am running 18/6 is this too much? Mine look healthy enough. They're your seeds by the way 💚 from Australia. Starlite/growlush 2 x 55w fluorescent light works great for me in a Seahawk clone tent. .

    Love your guide! Had some seeds I started (I was told they are san pedro, and some are peyotes) about 3 months ago after watching your videos.
    So far I did not remove the film from the boxes yet, the soil mix seems to work well and no mold developed. I got about 14 plants from 30 seeds in my first attempt.
    Now slowly other plants seem to grow from random seeds in the soil, should I open the boxes and remove the small plants that spawned recently? the cacti are still very small (1-1,5 cm height) and I don't want to kill them after all the months I still watch them grow...

    At point or size do you start to repot them separately?

    • @sanpedromastery6262
      @sanpedromastery6262  2 роки тому +2

      You cannot repot them when they are too small (they would die), but from about 6 months old that can be done. Personally I like to leave them in their original container for as long as possible, so a year or more.

    Hey Jerry I wanted to ask you again. I got 3 San Pedro seedlings from you about a year ago. All 3 grew for about 30 cm in length this year. The problem is that all 3 did not grow a lot in thickness, just in height. therefore I still have to place wooden sticks next to 1 of those 3 because else it would fall over. Can you maybe give me some tips what I should do so they can also become thicker? All 3 are in pots with 16cm diameter. I hope you can help me. Thank you!

      @FilthyDankWastemanFabuless I'm in cornwall uk and over winter mainly

    • @VladtheInhaler
      @VladtheInhaler 2 роки тому

      It's very damp in there even in this weather. I have 2 Peruvians in there but I'm going ti have to move them or the soil won't dry and the roots will rot

    • @VladtheInhaler
      @VladtheInhaler 2 роки тому

      @FilthyDankWastemanFabuless I'm kind of already answering my own question here. So it's not ideal because of the damp but its probably better than rain. The soil was already damp when I put them inside so that was a mistake. Also if you want cacti to flower you apparently shouldn't water them over winter. Oops.
