Hello! Recently, a 67-year-old female relative of mine was diagnosed with anal cancer. She received treatment in Guwahati, Assam, and thankfully, she became cancer-free. Later, she went to Chennai for a follow-up verification, and the process was smooth. I was surprised she could achieve this outcome in Guwahati, which isn’t widely known for its medical capabilities. Hospitals in southern cities like Chennai and Hyderabad tend to charge much more. Overall, I feel that the medical facilities in tier-2 cities are improving, especially for the middle class. Additionally, the government provides ₹5 lakh insurance to support low-income families through the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme. also x ray in government hospital charge only Rs 10 but you have to wait in a line for more than 2 - 3 hours
I was reading my 6yrs old Nephew's General knowledge book given by his school where nurses and doctors are mentioned as community service workers. but In hospitals I see completely opposite. Maybe Inflation or commercialization or incentivization messed up the whole humanity.
Every1 is community here the Fire Deptt, Police, council member, Hospital. But none of them have any accountability. They are not hard workers. Even 911 service we called to help my wife be transported to the hospital was very bad. lot of bumps, inexpeienced officers and 0 empathy. I don't know it its a Seattle think or elesewhere also its the same
I had a similar experience... it's the worst experience. To rub salt to the wound, they will send a bill for a couple of thousand dollars for the dumbest treatment they've provided... just wait for the bill... and your frustration/anger will multiply a hundred times.
Whenever there is capitalism or commercialization of health system ,the cost will increase . The recent surge in health insurance companies and there profit can be eye opener. MBA are coming in big way and hospitals are being run by them not by doctors... Though doctors face the patient first
Hey sorry you have to go through this.
Hope you and your family will be okay. God bless you.

India medical system is going down the drain.. following..the US system... specially in Bangalore..the system is shit.....
Yes India has its own challanges, like the greed I mentioned. But we still have access and choice.
I am from BLR and I confirm BLR hospitals have become too much commercialized.
@@prashanthb6521 yes I know....I also am from Bangalore...and if possible.. Bangalore doctors are the worst...
