Hi Craig. I am making this today and let me say how much easier your decrease is….chaining three instead of slip stitch is a game changer. Be well stay safe and stay warm.

Thank you for all your knowledge in crochet. I’ve been doing alot of mosaic in the past 3 years and had to come back to something easy. I actually forgotten how to do C2C and where did I go…straight to your videos. Than you again for all you do.

I love doing c2c. You are the first to use a chain 3 when decreasing to get to the next section to make a square so that is quicker than slip stitching in each stitch to get to the next section. Look forward to your next video showing how to join as you go, and I like the gingham and colors you used.

I'm so excited for this tutorial!!! Thank you so much for all your hard work helping us become more creative by learning through sight. I'm almost done with the kaleidoscope blanket for my 85year old grandma. It's been a very special project for me. I can't thank you enough.

watching your tutorials during this 2020 crazy year -- in sooooo many ways crazy! ---- I'm trying to find the words to convey how much you have brought peace into my life. You have introduced me to many new patterns ...I've been crocheting, knitting, tating, etc for 70 years ... no where near an expert of any .... but each new tutorial is like a mystery that I'm glued to your every word to solve .... and you do it everytime. Sorry I'm so long-winded, rambling and ???? Just know that I'm sending you blessings.

I made one using Lion's Brand Mandala Yarn in the color of "Groot". I used 1 cake to make a long strip approximately 10 inches wide (16 blocks) X 50 inches long. Four cakes will make a baby blanket. Now I'm making one in the color way of Nifflers. It's quite interesting to see the colors line up differently, in each strip. I'm going to do more experimenting to see what else I can do with this technique. Thanks Craig. I always recommend your videos to people I meet in the yarn section. ❤

Omg! I should've watched your video on c2c squares first lol, the way you do your decrease rows is way easier than all the videos I've seen where you slip stitch across the top to decrease. Thank you for simplifying this step for me. Okay I'm off to finish my square with ya.🙏🙏🤗🤗🥰

I’ve made several c2c blankets - your decrease method is different and much easier and looks really good - I’ll definitely be trying this on the large c2c blanket I’m currently working on once I get to that decrease side.

Oh my god. I'm making a bolster cushion cover I C2C, but I'm not going to have enough of the gradient ball that's doubled up with a neutral. And I don't want to buy more. So that's for another cushion now. I there for thought I'd do small granny squares, which look good but I don't like doing. Then you come up with this. PERFECT TIMING, MY WONDERFUL SPIDER. I like C2C, so I'll do smaller squares than yours alternating it as I do from variagated then plain. You are a ster Thank you 👍💕😇

I really like this JAYG. I wish you could show it for us lefties. TG I've made a few C2C items. But it took me a couple of days and a few bits of frogging before I got it translated in my little brain. Fortunately, I've had a lifetime of translating right to left or I might have gotten too discourage. But it is definitely a fun and gorgeous project. Thank you for the 4 parts and being so clear in your demos.

hi...I am like, a super beginner here. like, I was in a crocheting club in middle school but stopped before high school and haven't tried it again since, and now I''m 25. but I really would love to try making this blanket! But I have questions and I figured I would just go ahead and shoot my shot, in case anyone can answer??
    1. if I wanted to use a cushier/thicker/softer type of yarn, I'd probably need to use a different needle size, right?
    2. how much yarn do y'all think I would need to make this in a queen size blanket? and does that depend on the type/thickness of the yarn?
    3. lol is this a bad literally-my-very-first-since-middle-school project? is there a simpler patchwork blanket I should make?
Sorry for all the questions, but thank you in advance!!
