I just got to watch your video on this new technique. I do love it. I did read the comments first and was confused as to everyone saying you were going too fast and thinking they could just slow it down. But, what they are really trying to say or ask is, during your teaching process, you ate not explaining the thought process of the technical side as to why you are doing what you're doing....if that makes sense. You have grasped the idea so fast that you think everyone can grasp the idea that fast too. Im a person that wants to know all the details of Why you do what you do and what the reason is. Then, i eventually say to myself, oh he.., i just have to do it no matter the reason. Im a memorizer and i memorize by association. Thank you for this beautiful pattern.
Her tutorial is so easy to understand in my opinion. I have done many complicated stitch patterns and the written pattern of this was confusing for me but watching and hearing her explain it here made this very quick and easy for me to get this started and it all made perfect sense! Great work here, she is awesome! ❤
Absolutely genius! I am literally in the middle of a c2c graphgan and the row to row is getting long and driving me nuts. i thought of trying seperate c2c squares and join but because of your wonderful video I will now pick a point on my graph, start the c2c in the round and then attach it to what I already have. You are so talented! I have been crocheting for 27 years and this c2c blanket is now going to be the first of many, thank you so much my dear 🙏🏼🤗
So easy to follow... I tried this method with another crafter's video but found it extremely confusing. So glad I gave it another shot with your video!!!
A few years ago, I made quite a few C2C blankets in the round, but needed a refresher, and here you are! Thank you, I'm comfortable having a go again. From Australia. 😊
I LOVE this! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I've made several C2C blankets in the traditional way & they're so fun to make. I'm excited to learn an alternative way to C2C! Great tutorial!!
So, C2C has been my “go to” afghan since I learned it years ago. Even though I do it a little differently, I’ve given this a try and I think this is going to be my New “go to” afghan. I Love it! Thanks!
Thank you. I have been doing c2c for years. I have done graph pattern, mickey mouse , Pikachu so. I just found you and never seen this. Can't wait to try. Thanks
Amazing video! Thank you. I was struggling to find a stitch pattern that l liked for some wool from Bolivia my mother-in-law gave me. This pattern is perfect! I'm in love with it already, and I'm only ten rows in. Also, for me, the video speed was perfect. Thanks again! 😁
Love this C2C stitch it's my favourite always end up using it. Made loads of crochet items with it from scarves, blankets, table clothes, cr owls, body warmers etc
Thank you so much. Just what I was looking for. I was going to make 4 c2c triangles and was looking for join-as-you-go instructions, but this is so much easier. Got a little confused seeing that one square at the start of each round, but otherwise it's actually far less confusing than the starting rows of traditional c2c!
Okay this is my second watch. This time I have crochet hook and yarn in hand. I slowed it down to 3/4 speed and I'm crocheting as you speak. I managed the first four squares and even the next group. After that, you had so much of it watered in your hand and not flat where we could see exactly where we were supposed to be before continuing that I did something wrong somewhere and I can't figure it out so this will have to be started over and try it again for the third time. I actually dreamed about this during the night and so I wanted to try it again because I love from the center blankets but this is not looking good at all.
This looks great! I looked but didn't see a video for the full blanket in the thumbnail. I think I can do it, I'll watch this video again and refer to the photo for how many rows you did of which colour and should be good. Thanks for showing this, I've not seen it before.
Very nice pattern. I like c2c because it builds quickly but don’t particularly like the “holes”, nice to see this condensed pattern. Thanks for this tutorial. Remain teachable and enjoy this art!! 🧶
Hey, Ashley. Can you please make a video tutorial for making a corner to corner dishcloth using the corner-to-corner in the round technique? I love your videos. I am a blind crochet who loves making everything from scarves to kitchen and bath items. Your vidoos are very descriptive. Keep up the great work.
Wow, double crochet is my favorite mindless stitch and this project, while not mindless, is certainly gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! Would be perfect for school colors blanket.
I watched first. I watched through row 5 and could not get heads or tails out of what you were doing or get it to make sense to me. After you laid it down and showed it to us right before the color change, I could actually see the square. I will have to crochet this with you from the beginning to see if it makes more sense the second time. I love the concept of from the center because that's my favorite kind of Afghan / blanket to make!
Whoa! I'm excited. Thanks for explaining things so well. And don't you love those new dots hooks? I love the length of the handle. Last night I was working with a splitty yarn and changed from my Odyssey over to a Dots. That fixed it! Anyway, thanks for all the hard work.
This looks like a great fun method ! First is one is for me !! Then the gifts for others. While I can still afford yarn I'm intent on making Lots of pretty, cozy projects. Thanks !
Love this pattern and your teaching style, enjoyed making my shrug, easy to get the hang of if you have done a normal c2c project, maybe not for beginners 😂❤
I'm on Row 3 and just had my first Ah Ha Moment :) This is super cool. Didn't think I was understanding but followed along, and then .... Ah Ha! thank you !
Interesting! I love the c2c. I'm making one right now for one of my great nephews. 💙 It does look a little confusing though. I think I still want to take a stab at it. 🤔
Thanks! I'm so glad I found this! Most of my blankets are c2c and I'm.always afraid of running out of yarn so this is perfect! Do you have a suggestion for a border? The border patterns I have found are for traditional c2c and not c2c in the round.
Hi it's beautiful but cam I lay this over the seating if my sofa?? I would live to attempt this corner to corner Thank You for your lively work Stay Blessed 🙌 Lotsa live and more crocheting❤
I ve never before c2c. I try to understand how to make this beautiful blanket you made here. If i keep going like you do here in this video, will i get a big blanket with this color change? Or do i have to make the regular c2c at the end?
So i started making this while watching the tutorial. I love how its turning out. I was wondering, would it be the same decrease method as traditional C2C for a rectangle blanket? I've been playing around with the decrease but can't seem to get the rectangle shape. Any suggestions?
I appreciate the video but the jumping is hard for visual learners like myself. You started moving pretty quickly after the third row. I’ve watched and watched it but transitioning from row to row still baffles me. I think I’m getting it but one question would be, are there two squares on each corner and are we to turn it each row? Again thanks for the video and it looks really good and I would love to do one as a gift so I won’t give up. 🌻
My question is: when adding the corners, will the finished piece be twice the size? I'm trying to figure out when to stop the middle and start the sides if I want a 46 inch square blanket.
If you lay your piece out like a diamond and measure top point to bottom point (or left to right point) that will give you the height/width of your square. Adding the corners does not increase the size of the blanket.
I did exactly what is done in the video and I succeeded but I am extremely confused on how to make the blanket that is in the thumbnail. That’s what I am trying to make but this seems a little different? I don’t understand how to do the three color look from this video
She shows how to change colors at timemark 18:49 . For her 3-color blanket: center White for 2 rounds; then 3 rounds per color change (Gold, Gray, White; then repeat).

Glad it was helpful!
Nothing difficult to understand or follow. If you need more help pause video rewind extra till you get it. Not a rocket science
I found this video by accident while working on a traditional C2C. Love it! I can’t wait to make one!

Doing my second blanket in this stich. It gets easier as you go. Love this stich. Thank you.

I love this. I’ve never seen it demonstrated before. It reminds me of Bavarian just in that in worked in rounds.
She's excited about it???? I think she should be it's sensational! 🎉🎉🎉❤
Thanks so much for sharing! This motivated me to want to pull out my yarn and get started immediately, love the look of this work!
Definitely the clearest video I’ve watched on this pattern. Made it first time I tried ! Thanks.
Wonderful! So glad you liked it!
I did the same. Just jumped right in and crocheted along. Super easy and fun. I love it already, and I'm only ten rows in.
First time doing this type of c2c. Once you get the first several rounds done, it gets a lot easier. I'm doing a scrapghan just to use up some yarn.
Thank you so much. Just what I was looking for. I was going to make 4 c2c triangles and was looking for join-as-you-go instructions, but this is so much easier. Beautiful! Nice way to change up c2c. The diamond design is so pretty.

I can’t wait to try this! I’ve been doing corner to corner for years. This is awesome!
I think I found my new favorite pattern! It looks really fun to work with and Lord knows I’ve got enough yarn to use up 😂
Me, too!
I read the comments... started it SEVERAL times...not gonna stop til I get it ..I want to make a hobo bag using this method 😮
You can do it!

Interesting! I love the c2c. I'm making one right now for one of my great nephews. 💙 It does look a little confusing though. I think I still want to take a stab at it. 🤔

I found a tutorial on the C2C in the round for rectangle. She is slow, and she explains everything. It is beautiful.
I ve never before c2c. I try to understand how to make this beautiful blanket you made here.
If i keep going like you do here in this video, will i get a big blanket with this color change? Or do i have to make the regular c2c at the end?
Can't wait to try! Beautiful!!
I love this idea! Question: Could you use the stacking single crochets in the place of the chain 3 to make the squares with a smaller gap?
Still my favourite to learn from🙂

You can slow the tutorial down by going into settings and changing the playback speed.

Can you do this with a pixel grid? Like a graphgan?
My question is: when adding the corners, will the finished piece be twice the size? I'm trying to figure out when to stop the middle and start the sides if I want a 46 inch square blanket.
If you lay your piece out like a diamond and measure top point to bottom point (or left to right point) that will give you the height/width of your square. Adding the corners does not increase the size of the blanket.
Thanks!
Could this be left without decreasing to make a square and leave the edges jagged?
I should have listened a little longer before commenting...you answered my question 😂
Thank you happy tea time
wow i really want to learn this c2c box i just love but much to fast for me when your trying to learn listen and wattch my mind minch to slow lol
I have a learning disability and am trying to make this almost twin size so how many blocks do i need or how many inches across before i decrease
I did exactly what is done in the video and I succeeded but I am extremely confused on how to make the blanket that is in the thumbnail. That’s what I am trying to make but this seems a little different? I don’t understand how to do the three color look from this video
