This method makes the squares so neat and clear. Just small notches that fit into the other squares when you connect through the stitch rather than through the opening. I love the texture, I love how easy it is to start the first square in the other rows using your tricks. 10/10 Fiber Spider! thank you so much!
I truly wish there was a way to share our work with you …you have truly saved me and wish I could show you my gratitude and the piece that got me here right now ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just learning to crochet a corner to corner blanket using your method all bottom row joined and just joined first tier above . And yours is the only method that makes any sense to me . Took me a few tries doing c2c this way . But am getting there . Your videos are so easy to understand . Your a great teacher . Love all your videos . Just about to try joining both sides haha . May need a big glass of wine . Thank you
I loved doing the baby quilts, they went to the preemie ward at Middlemore hospital in South Auckland. It did make a difference to go into the side stitch rather than the loop!
Thank you Craig for sharing this stitch stitch with us!! I Definitely see a new project in my future soon! You are appreciated!! Love ya from a spederette!! ❤😘🤗❤
Thank You for this video, I love c2c but get bored with it after awhile, and this join as you go is so much fun, and not as annoying as the usual stripes, ugh LOL
Super tutorial. Have seen other videos and the joining looks sloppy, this technique made each join look perfect. Have you ever done a C2C JAYG quilt pattern. The few I've seen, are squares that need to be joined and it is difficult to get a nice point when squares have 2 colors. Keep up the great work!! TY
Is the chain 3, slip stitch on decrease side a technique purposely for the join as you go method, I've always slip stitched Into the top of each stitch on c2c blankets
Fabulous😀 tutorial! I've been wanting to delve into this for myself, so I can teach others. I was left uncertain about which side (front or back) and (left or right) to begin each new block. Is it always the same side/same corner when working right to left on a strip?
Would you be able to show how to add a collar to the easy breezy shawl, after it’s completed?, I started mine a while ago and had to put it aside for something else; now I’m back to finish it and would love to add the collar like on your lace embrace shawl.
On your second square you started it in the base of the first chain. But in the 3rd your starting in the base of the dc. Is this right, or should 3rd be at base of the first chain also.
Casey White bobwilson123 on YT and I think sheepishly sharing have on their websites estimates on yarn needed based on size of afghan. Also the crochet guild and bevs cottage have charts to help you determine how much yarn based on size. If you buy too much yarn for the afghan you can return the unused skeins just keep your receipts. But..you can never have to much yarn😂😂. You could make matching pillows. Good luck
Your squares look as if they are stitched together, lovely, could watch you make the whole blanket, wouldn’t be bored.

Must more finished slip stitching into slip stitches. Keeps squares square
A world of hurt LOL!!
Does anyone know how many skeins (or yards) of yarn it would take to make an afghan in this pattern?
