Cuties wasn't even bad. it's a cautionary tale about the dangers of being provocative, and the protagonist rejects the lifestyle she tries to pursue by the end. The one scene that everyone freaked out about is extremely tame compared to what gets posted on instagram by parents of their own school age kids. I agree though what they did with Sound of Freedom was bad. That movie made me cry 4 times.

In over a decade of Holiday Special-Level dreck, Disney has yet to actually create an original character for Star Wars. We've gotten lots of characatures, lots of stereotypes, lots of tropes, but no real, fully developed characters. All they've done is stitch a diverse skin on a partially developed framework and trot it out as something to be proud of. DUSTY Disney sucks.
