What in the hell is that music at the ending credits? That's literally the least Star Wars thing they could have done. I think it was Chris Gore that said this would be The Last Jedi all over again, and he was spot on.

Most people didn't notice but this all started with repeatedly crashing the Millennium Falcon in The Force Awakens. And making out Rey knows more about the ship than Han. That's where the deliberate destruction of Georges real Star Wars starts. I don't think they thought it would put them out of business though. Disney shares at $96 and falling.
Or how when Han died they had Leia console Rey who had been around for a few days, but not Chewie who has been there 30 years. Sheesh....
I'm not sure I agree with the Falcon crashing bit. They could have had it crash & destroyed if that was the intent there. But yeah, Rey being more familiar with the Falcon was definitely part of the messaging, as well as what was done with the legacy characters.

Lol the R&B music is so cringe. I remember that back in Mandalorian S2, dubstep was used but it was brilliantly integrated for Dark Troopers theme, and it fit because they were robots, very deadly robots and it nicely emphasised that they're not humans.
Nondiagetic pop music has no place in Star Wars. The Mando soundtrack was certainly different from Williams' work on the franchise but it fit that particular series IMO at least.
Back when SW was actually back on track, and the shows were actually good. It all went downhill starting with BoBF.

I didn’t even see the Jedi as evil in this episode. The “lie” that they are pretending is the truth … IS THE TRUTH! Mae really did start a fire and that small fire blew up the whole mountain!! That’s what happened! It would have happened regardless if the Jedi had shown up the 2nd time or not.
If that is the case (because I'm not watching the show) then their claim that the "Jedi are Evil" makes them sound like morons. Qui-gon refers to anakin as a "vergence in the force" when presenting him to yoda & the jedi council. so we got more lore-altering garbage that implies the same force anomaly is responsible for both these twins and anakin. makes me wanna puke. but hey, at least they didnt completely waste a wookie jedi like we originally thought.
Episode 7 somehow made episode 3 slightly better by comparison. The whole show is still absolute garbage, but episode 7 did nothing to answer why the Jedi are (somehow) more evil than the cult of Lesbian Space Witches. The witches possess a Jedi to make them attack their friends (quite villainous), mind-manipulate a padawan by preying on their insecurities (very villainous...and p3d0), manipulate an 8 year old to attempt to "end" her own sister's life (very evil), and suddenly turn into a black smoke creature at the most inappropriate time (not evil, just very confusing). How was any of this supposed to convince viewers that the Lesbian Space Witches were (somehow) "good", and that the Jedi were (somehow) "evil"?
There are probably a few Star Wars original fans left. I don’t know who they’re going after but it’s not realistic to think it’s actual Star Wars fans.

We already had a game where Jedi were painted in a grey light: Knights of the Old Republic. It made those who played/watched it aware that Jedi werent perfect and are more than willing to walk the edge to get the job done. However, it never strayed from the fact that Jedi do more good than harm and that the Sith (both the race and the cult) were usually the aggressors in every conflict.
The acolyte is a good move.. makes all the other shows look hella solid
