I don't play on the Paul, but it was very interesting to watch, I didn't even think that this hero had so many subtleties, he always seemed to me quite straightforward.
FF21 is the best cancel move it’s covers a good range , tracks , have best options select , wallsplat , it’s can be a mid ,a high , a cancel also a low 😄 The mental frame advantage is there. 2nd is the Backsway cancel it’s also quite good as backsway unlocks a lot of options like backsway into 2, or 3,4 so it’s a good to cancel it to for people who thing they can interupt it 👻
@@onepunchmanPaul you are right but death fist is also minus it’s totally depends how to place it right , for example I prefer taking risk at wall for higher damage.
The recent small buff does not help Paul. Tekken 8 is very different from Tekken 7. It is all about heat. Paul's heat system is very weak. Paul's heat is nowhere near Dragonov heat or Reina heat. Furthermore, many characters have better damage than Paul with less risk. I think Paul is dead for Tekken tournament. In my opinion, Paul is below average in Tekken .
Paul has some of the best heat engagers in the game while also having some of the best heat in game. Every one is a launcher with one being a 13f hopkick punisher. He's not a dead character in tourney because he had solid rep all through EVO, including Knee even pulling him out. He's for sure not as strong as the T7 version with the game being more catered against his preferred style of play but dead would be a stretch IMO
@@kdaristotle9529 Thanks for the reply. Paul is my main. I reached God level in Tekken 7 but hard stuck at Emperor in Tekken 8. I disagree Paul has some of the best heat in game. Paul's heat smash is punishable. Paul's heat moves hardly pressure the opponent. Paul is no longer unique in Tekken 8. I don't know what makes Paul stand out in Tekken 8. Knee used Paul and he lost to Joe Crush. Knee now witches to Dragunov and you know why lol.
Paul is a set up character. U have utilize side steps along with deep dive sidestep pressure to really get the most out of his Heat. Without constant movement to help Paul can definitely sometimes feel easy to play against. With Knee pulling out Paul in EVO u can see spurts of his potential in the 1st game. Joe Crush jus happens to play a style that 95% ppl lose to the first couple times playing him. I main Paul and he definitely feels like a middle of the pack character but at times feel A tier when he gets going!. I wouldn't call him Dead

@@mr__pheonix6967 deathfist becomes safe sometimes with pushback
if u can do a long video to show how to stop strings of all characters, it would be great, like when to duck and launch
sure i will do it one by one
Great vid . Waiting for the bryan punishment guide now 😅😊
Bryan’s really Sri be giving me the work I gotta work much harder 😂
oh yes i will actually punish guide takes time i will try to finish this week
amazing
I love to do qcf 1+2 cancel after knockdown to while rising 2 launcher
good one i will try that
Any tips for doing df1 sway loop consistently? Since the new buff, the df 1 while on sway sometimes enters to deep dive instead of doing df1 again.
yes thats a problem now have to press df and 1 simultaneously otherwise it goes to deep dive
qcf 1+2b bait into ws check ws3 (hit comform) ws3,2

The only thing i have a problem with is doing ws1+2 twice after a launcher
why do you want to do that?
