  • Most patients who see their doctors have very little understanding about their own X-rays. When you are suffering with pain YOU MUST know everything about your X-rays. This will help you make the right decisions as your body repairs and heals.

    Thanks for this doc. I am a mess, and I don't feel like my doctors really take time to help me. I'm glad you showed us this in detail, next appointment I will have this memorized. I already knew the darned bone spurs and the osteoarthritis, ugh.😥

    Thank you Dr Mandell! This video is very informative. So grateful for your generosity to help us all. I have severe disc degeneration L4L5. Born with spina bifida and scoliosis, now way into my middle years, I've had major lower back/leg pain most of my life. Now the sciatica is so bad I have difficulty walking, standing, sitting--in other words, there is no comfortable positions anymore. I've had MRI and CT scans and have seen the neurosurgeon who says I'm complicated and said he won't touch me until I can no longer walk at all. Boom! 5 min of his time and I was sent home. I feel like my life is done. I've kept myself healthy, always active when younger--running, tennis, biking, hiking, walking and year after year, more pain. Can you possibly do a video on exercises for one in my position to do without injuring myself further please? I realize I cannot fix degeneration and spondo but with so much bone and nerve pain I have to try something besides wait until I can no longer walk. Very thankful for all you do to help us all. God bless you Dr M.

    Could you explain how Chiropractors are technically doctor's being doctors of chiropractic, but not medical doctors. That's confusing to so many and a lot of chiropractors (not implying you) prey on "laymen" for lack of a better word, that don't know the difference and advertise services that clearly fall into medical treatment. I've always been curious how a good chiro feels about that.

    AH HA MOMENT!!!!! My pelvis is imbalanced and I thought this whole time I had one pelvis anterior and the other posterior until you mentioned the size of the obturator internus on an x-ray. I checked my x-ray and both are identical so this leads me to assume that I have more of a lateral pelvic tilt. I will keep researching, but thank you for the breakdown of muscles, organs and bones.

    Very enlightening explanation. Thanks Doc, God bless you. Pls, help me out Sir. I have been experiencing lower back pain Since last year. It was worse from onset but got better with time after medications. I was later told to do a lumbosacral X-ray, to know what the problem was. After I did the lumbosacral X-ray and presented it to two different doctors, the first said its spondilosis while the other said my spine is in good condition, it's just muscle spasm. This got me confused, pls how can I know which of them was right and how can I correct it Sir?

    Referring to the bowel gas: is it bad that I had different ultrasounds and the last two I had said the bowel gas was obstructing my pancreas view so they couldn’t see it?

    Interesting info! Is it good or bad for feet to go barefoot most of the time?

    • @frankface7288
      @frankface7288 7 років тому

      I've heard its better to go barefoot because your feet/ankles are less restricted, you better feel the ground and it helps maintain all the support muscles involved with upright movement, that said I do not know, it does seem logical...

    • @wildcherrymoon2
      @wildcherrymoon2 7 років тому

      EThanks for that great input, Frank. I am from Kentucky, and I hate to re-enforce the stereo type about being barefoot… LOL But, I only wear shoes when I have to. As I get older, I worry about my feet spreading and getting wider because of this. The doc emphasized the importance of having good supportive shoes. Am I promoting fallen arches? Just a thought.🤔

    • @frankface7288
      @frankface7288 7 років тому

      I'm in Arizona, I stay barefoot all year most of the time. From my understanding falling arches is a muscle deficiency, there are lots of important stabilizer muscles in the feet/calves that need to be maintained for good foot/postural health, there are many exercises to build up these muscles where you point the toes, roll the ankles, etc, you'll get a good idea how weak or strong your various support muscles are when you try a few of them.

      I know right? I would be barefooted ALL the time if I could get away with it. LOL no shirt no shoes no service! Thanks Doc. Love your videos.
