Glad there wasn’t much damage for you. Echo what everyone says about stands. Also if it was my car I would have cleaned up the area by the rad a bit more and spruced everything up a bit including painting the bracket while you had the chance. Enjoyed the content well done
Super you were able to fix it without too much extra costs. New tires will provide a whole lot more grip. Good choice.
If you’re going to jack up a car, get a jack stand under it before putting any part of yourself under there. Don’t work on it whilst it’s only on a jack.
That bumper going down onto the block paving hurt 🥶 put some cardboard down 😭😭 but yeah good on you for getting stuck in !
I was in such a rush to get the car fixed It totally slipped my mind 😂 but whilst editing this video I was also cringing at that part. Luckily no scratches :)

Looking good on the new wheels! I keep thinking about going aftemarket on my MK3 TT, but after dropping it and doing spacers I'm happy with the standard 20's for now...

@@MetalAndMotors thanks! They’re forged and lightweight from factory too similar to the R8 so that makes it even harder to switch! Definitely bone shakers over our UK potholes though. I’ve had a press car from Genesis this week and getting back into my TT it feels like a wooden cart 😂

The air lock issue is an easy mistake and I’m sure you won’t make it again in the future.
It certainly would of been more useful to have the skid training the week before the crash as opposed to the week after 😂

Bro, if jacking up a car for long you with a trolley should definitely have a back up jack stand to be safe.
Don’t worry, there was support under it (besides the Jack). I just left the jack in situ for extra protection.
