Hahaha thanks for watching! The irony is I had literally just taken delivery of some new wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 5s but hadn’t fitted them yet! Chances are the crash wouldn’t have happened with them 😂 not sure why the previous owner fitted tyres to a car like this but safe to say I will not be repeating that mistake! Hope you enjoyed! :)

I couldn't work out how you did that until you went around the tyres. Chinese specials is one thing but low on tread as well in a 1 way ticket to the nearest ditch... as you have found.

Class content, your rear wheels don’t look like they have any tread and are pretty bald, won’t have helped you when going around the corner. Glad you were okay and safe, the car looks in pretty good shape considering, a few cosmetic bits and that’s it.

I have a 3 cylinder fabia that misfires and I can confirm Taylor's description, been meaning to get it serviced and with new plugs for 1000 miles now

Ouch, not the kinda thing you want to happen to your brand new motor! Lovely Recaro wingbacks in it, my S3 8P has wingbacks too. The best seats for our cars imo, even to this day I don't think they've made a better bucket seat for an Audi.

Nice work on the video boys, if I have to be constructive all I'd say ideally you should install the windmuffs on your DJI mics to make it less distracting. But overall was a fun watch and a nice car (before you pranged it!). Its taken me a long time to get to the point where youtube earns me money and is actually a viable job, but its definitely good fun, and its easy to get better at content creation when you just keep at it and learn on the fly. Look forward to more!
Thanks Dan! Very constructive feedback, we didn’t think it was all that windy when filming but it does seem that even the smallest amount of wind gets picked up. Will certainly be using them going forward 😂

We had a fully loaded Land Rover try and fail, the angle of the car meant pulling it was just beaching it even further unfortunately

I mean… the tyres let you down here. Don’t even have to have top of the range £300 per corner tyres on, but at the very least midrange £150-200 a corner for the performance models of any car… give yourself some chance again slip/skid in wet weather, or if you fancy giving it a boot 👍🏻

Austin Allegro 1300 is one of the best cars ever bought one from a car auction for £350 and had it 2 half years didn't give me any problems be a rich man if I still had it Mm how much you gave for yours lol?

Slipped on some oil my arse 😂 maybe if the rears had some tread on them that would've helped.
Yeah tyres weren’t great (i had just bought it) but it now has Michelin PS5s on so no more accidents 😂

@@MetalAndMotors has to be tailored but 1500 (there's only about 5/6k worth of bits in it like hybrid turbo, high flow fuel pump, alloy intercoolers, eibach springs on bilstein shocks, power flex arb bushes, everything else is febi bilstein and there's lots more on top)

@@flippingcarsrepairs one of the cam caps snapped when I was tightening them. Have a replacement head with cams in the boot. Just been parked up for about 3 years now due to problems with my back

I highly recommend getting rid of those tyres mate, you unfortunately now know the reason behind the term "Ditchfinders". I bought an A4 in 2018, it was a 56 plate and the place put 4 brand new Jinyu's on it. I drove it sensibly home and then had 4 Michelins fitted the next day. Budget tyres are just dangerous. Hope you get it sorted quickly, that front grille may just clip back in if its not broken. I have fog light grills in my bumper and they are just plastic clips holding it in.
Annoyingly I had actually taken delivery of some Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres a day before the accident! Safe to say those are fitted now! Luckily damage was fairly minimal :)

so annoying that the recovery ret ard didn't lower the excavator thing and cracked your rear bumper too. THE GUY WAS EVEN GIVING HIM HAND SIGNS TO LOWER THAT SHIT. I'm so pissed off. Hope you ask them for compensation for their fuckup.

Wasn’t driving irresponsibly at all actually, hence why the car wasn’t damaged. Was quite literally no more than 10mph on a wet day with really bad tyres. Doesn’t take a genius to work out…
