It seems like we’ve finally found a good formula for making video games into tv shows or movies. Except for one, we don’t talk about it. *cough* Halo *cough*
WE have had more wins and than losses since the start of the Decade: Detective Pikachu, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario, Twisted Metal, Castlevania, Arcane, The Last of US, Fallout it has been a Steller time for video game adaptations.
Wait until the Borderlands Movie comes out. This one will be a sh*t show. Which is sad, i really wanted it to succeed, but judging by the Trailer they fumbled the ball on all accounts, from casting to the Story.
I'm not a big t.v series or movie watcher. Hell, I don't have much time to play video games anymore. I have played my share of Fallout though. A LOT of it. I just finished this first season of Fallout, and I couldn't be happier. An absolute masterpiece imo.
Being a fallout fan since FO:NV and being heavily invested in the fallout universe, the FO series hits every aspect of the games perfectly. It's also a great introduction for new fans, I got my partner to watch with me (we have completely different tastes), and she's now a fallout fan.
I've watched the whole season and I must say the attention to detail in the series from the game is very very accurate. From Robco , Enclave , Brotherhood and also the design of all the props as well are highly accurate. I really look forward to the second season, hopefully they don't ruin it. Also Geneva Robertson Dworet and Graham Wagner who are the writers for this series ACTUALLY played Fallout through and through and you notice that in the details when watching the show itself with its attention to detail.
About the Fallout series standing on its own, you´re just dead wrong. The TV series explains next to nothing of the story that all of us here know from the games. Seers are just thrown into everything, with raiders, ghouls, and other creatures, and the explanations only start in the last episodes. Season 1 doesn´t even start to explain all the factions and their relations, or how or why anything is like this. To anyone who´s not played the games, I can´t really recommend it. They will be lost. I enjoyed it from the first look at the vault, and seeing familiar objects like a Nuka Cola machine. Nobody who hasn´t played the game will appreciate this and stay with it long enough to get a real grasp on the story, I think.
Well, people totally unfamiliar with Fallout won't understand everything, but they're still able to enjoy the show, and that might lead them to play the games to learn more. So it doesn't really stand on its own, but it can definitely be a way to get new people into the franchise without having to know everything about the lore to get the plot of the show
I personally am extremely happy that as a hardcore fallout Fan I was able to love the show, I was so scared of being disappointed but ended up loving the show, even though there are things I would have preferred different, it's still very well made and the fan service is fantastic
Because Bethesda writers didn't write the tv show that's why it's good. Let's just hope Bethesda takes risk and hire new writers that are passionate about The Elder Scrolls. We already saw what other writers can do with Fallout, it is a TV show but still. We saw that Fallout TV writers did looking for your family wayyy better than Bethesda. The twists are better, the characters are better, the mysteries are better almost everything is better.
Still, Bethesda was involved with the story. They said in some interviews that there were some things Bethesda wanted included and some things left alone to set up future games
She's a strong person that happens to be a woman. Rather than Disney which tries to push the fact that someone is strong because they're a woman. She wears pretty dresses, she's girly but when the world turns her inner strength is there because she's personally strong. That's why she works where Disney fails
Mediocre show, at best. Can't believe you rated it so highly. Of course, the production value was very high, but to say that the actor who played Maximus gave a really good performance! Haha. That says it all.
Love their confidence in the Show. Even called the Dog cx404 ( customer experience Not found ) IT Not only underlines the dogs rather flexible Löyalty. ITS also a pun on the live Action curse, No Bad Reviews are good reviews
By the way, in the background footage I'm playing with a mod that randomizes my weapon on every kill, so that's what's going on there
I don´t think the ghoul is a bad guy, he´s just pragmatic, and a bit scorched by 200 years in the wastelands.

Wouldn't call it a win
Lucy’s eyes were so damn big I thought she was Alita Battle Angel
4:34 Goggins really was a perfect pick for Cooper. His past track record with Western films says it all. Especially The Hateful Eight.
Show was bad, surprised you liked it as none of my friends who have played since the first fallout have.

@@IAREDARK but they didn't write it. It doesn't matter what they want if they don't have good writers to execute it correctly.
Great vid! u showed up on my recommended!
Ewww.
If this doesnt win best adaptation this year im gonna lose it lol... such a good show
I think I started playing fallout in the early 2000's like 2005 or something.
I've got the quantum and literally taped a nuka cola paper over a coca cola the same way hell yeah great minds think alike 🤣
Haters... haters never change.
👍
they even make tv shows now. China did not do it.
Synthetic man looks like the mug shot of atrick Wood Crusius.
I was praying the series would be good. Thank god it is!
why can Fallout write a brilliant female protagonist but Star Wars just fails at every step :(
Disney
I think it's simply because they didn't try to shove unnecessary politics into it

The critics, IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes all disagree with you mr nobody
The show wasn't good. Name calling shows your argument has no validity.
@@sparkymikey25 no, saying that a show is bad when all critics say otherwise shows that your argument has no validity mr irrelevant opinion
@Vaultboy-ke2jj "all critics" maybe look at the other movies and shows they have rated highly lately.
Or the show was just bad
Oxhorn.
What about him
Its simple really, no woke bullshit and a loveable character/cast. Plan and simple.
Yep, there's one in every crowd.
why gamers video? compare with serials!!!
Its not good
Has a lot of GOOD reviews but I guess
8.4 on IMDb
94% on Rotten Tomatoes
But yeah let’s instead listen to this nobody 😂

Now that´s proper nerd humour ;D
OG fallout is dead it died at 4. But this new fallout that is rising is good just not my style.
Interesting how I’m the first one here and this video looks really cool
