Welcome! I am an aspiring polyglot with a degree in Linguistics. I speak English, Spanish, French, and Esperanto, and I'm currently working on Thai. I make videos twice a week to talk about my methods of learning languages and to try to help others make language learning faster, easier, and more fun.

It’s so crazy how words pop up after you learn them! 😂 I remember when I learned “apoyo” in Spanish and I saw it later that same day and was like 🤯 Now I expect this to happen. I think there’s even a scientific term for it.

I think you just feel like they pop up after you learn them, but it is actually that now you recognise them when you see them.

I admit I get a little freaked out about trying to speak Thai to strangers. But I agree with the rest. Great tip the UA-cam Channel too. I'll check that out

5:17 Making up a reason to talk about something you already know has actually even an extra advantage for your language learning than talking about something you don't know because you don't have to deal with understanding the subject and can purely concentrate on the language aspect of the topic.

I have been studying thai as well and sometimes I’m becoming lazy. My ex partner was thai and since i cannot speak to any thai right now, it’s hard. I wish i can stay in Thailand so I can practice with the locals.
