    I speak Hungarian, German, Swedish and English fluently, and have learnt Russian for a few months, it’s cool how close the sounds of the letters are to some of the Hungarian letters and their spelling, also a lot of words are super close to Russian, which isn’t surprising since it’s an Slavic language, but some words are kinda familiar to Hungarian and that is kinda cool, since Hungarian is a non Slavic language. Cool to see that Hungarian has picked up quite some stuff from the Slavic languages 😂. Also you are a really good teacher, ur videos are super helpful🙏🙏

    The Polish language makes EVERYTHING unnecessarily difficult and complicated. By what I gathered there are several pairs of letters that together sound exactly like ONE single letter, i.e. in Czech, č = English ch, or š = English sh. Simplify.... simplify!!

    • @polishwithblondes
      @polishwithblondes  Місяць тому +2

      Hahah well, I agree, it could be less complicated :)

    • @concerninghobbits5536
      @concerninghobbits5536 24 дні тому +1

      We have this but a little more chaotic in English, though we're good about it with a lot of words. Or rather we don't have any rules that complicate things, but then we have random exceptions.
      In French it's very similar to Polish where a lot of things could be simplified, but in both, unlike English, you can mostly be clear on how to pronounce ANYTHING knowing the rules. A lot of it's just a history thing especially in France there's an Académie de la Langue Française or something that tries to uphold the standards and history of the language but they can be a bit overly resistant to change.

    The z with a dash and z with a dot sounds seem identical : I would describe them both as zh , a little like the English th with the tongue on the front teeth. We don't have any zh spellings in English however .If you play scrabble in Polish I expect z is so common that you win hardly any points for a word beginning with z.

    • @polishwithblondes
      @polishwithblondes  Рік тому +2

      yes, they're very similar! So with cz and sz, the tongue has more of a rounded shape and touches the front teeth slightly.
      With the softer sounds: ć and ś, the tongue is completely flat and our side teeth are pressing on it.
      Also, try thinking about it this way: the English "sh" is in between sz and ś. And the English "ch" is between cz and ć.
      Hope that this helps you understand the difference better!

    Proszę nie udawać, że umie pani polski alfabet. Prawdziwy polski alfabet ma NAZWY.
    A, ą, bE, cE, ćE, dE, e, ę, eF, itd.
    Proszę nie wprowadzać ludzi w błąd.

      Tu nie chodzi o nauczenie ludzi alfabetu, tylko o wymawianie liter alfabetu tak jak brzmią w polskich wyrazach. Wiedza, że B czyta się „BE” jest mniej przydatna

      Ten film jest o głoskach a nie o literach? Odróżniasz od siebie te dwie rzeczy?

    Beautiful! I am inspired now to learn more, even though I was just here for fun initially.
    I feel almost that I could read with just knowing phonics, which is a very empowering feeling. (I remember experiencing it with learning Spanish. It doesn’t come with my current pursuit of Arabic, since short vowels are unwritten and instead it’s all about memorization. 🥲)
    What I mean is that I feel I could pick up a short book like for children, or to follow along with a short story written on my screen. I’d have to look everything up or have it explained for me, but it would be fun.
    Truly you explained the slight differences between the similar letters, as well as letters we don’t have in English, very well.
