The case C700M actually has been revised since 3 years ago. It's been more than a year I've got mine, and, kinda funny, finished rebuilding the system a week before the video came out. Cooler Master changed controller - no more molex, and the yellow knob on the riser cable is now black. But I had the SAME PROBLEM with riser plug as you did - graphics card falls out, that did not change. As much as I like esthetics of that case and how much thought was put into it, I hate to say it was NOT THOUGH THROUGH entirely, and it quite seems like rushed to release. The problems that I encountered when building and rebuilding my system should not happen with the case for 440$, in my opinion
I've had the case for quite a while and I've been really disappointed with it. Case itself is great, but every single led strip has failed to some degree. Some don't show certain colors, and some don't light up 100%. For $440 I'd expect something as simple as led strips to last a long while. Been 4 months now since I've heard from their support too.
@@slappypankake4484 I've fixed this issue by using some adapter from ebay (around 10$) from ARGB to Corsair Lightning port, and that allow to control all the case strips via ICUE instead on relying on the case controller or the motherboard header. But before that, I also had some strips displaying weird colors at one point, and Coolermaster Support was very quick to send to me the new controller revision + top / front / bottom pannels so I could replace all the strips.
I got mine when it came out (I had been waiting for it) and I love it. However, my BIG issue is with the RGB strips: I have it on solid white RGB, and after a year or so the RGB strips on the case (which look really cool initially) started to change color (e.g. becoming yellowish instead of pure white). Worse, it's not uniform, so some strips remained pure white for longer, others became yellow faster. This also affects any other colors you choose (for instance, purple eventually becomes a dull pink instead of the original bright purple). Well, at least they haven't failed entirely like it happened to some other users of this case. Also, I have my GPU on the standard horizontal position, so I can't really comment on the vertical GPU mount. I did play with it a bit, and you can move it towards the front of the case if space for bending the video cables is an issue.

Nice build. Good to get back into large format cases once in a while. Two inputs on the visuals: 1) the red cpu power cabling in the top left corner looks very skinny and almost “lost” between all the black. An all black cable may look better. 2) moving the motherboard cable through the top hole/grommet kinks the look of the entire setup. If you move it into the hole just below, it ties up with the cables from the gpus and will look much smoother. Just my 2c. 😃
That's why I opted for the ASUS TUF Gaming PLUS [Wi-Fi] X570 board... Only like $170 on Newegg, and it should be a tough board to wreck... And it is doing fine with my 3900X and stock cooler and a bit of an undervolt and a small overclock as well... 3900X definitely needs an undervolt at stock settings

8+8 bridged option on the card, love my cablemod cables
There's nothing that says "I'm an AMD fanboy yet."
Sure, nothing but a GIANT RADEON LOGO ON THE GPU.
you clearly switched up some words there.
If you are just liking stuff you are a fan, not a fanboy.
The difference is in wether you also hate on every competing product or not.
@@Todbrecher Jay said the part in quotes. Not sure if you missed that?
@@gettingwrekt Nope. But he obviously joked. You instead emphasized the Radeon logo to be a sign of fanboyism.
@@Todbrecher So you can tell when Jay is making an obvious joke, but not when somebody else is? #ReadingIsHard
@@gettingwrekt Well, Jay has facial expressions when talking. Even if you are having those while writing, There is no way I could see those.
Hence: Yes, it is much harder to detect written Jokes of this form than spoken ones with video images. And it has gotten even worse with all the Fanboys around - I mean, enough people are also convinced Jay is a NVIMDTEL-shill, so your statement above is not the last thing I'd expect under one of his videos ;)
So, I apologize if I mistakenly took you for a Fanboy of the opponent manufacturer.
PS: All brands are cool (or currently equally failing to launch products properly).
"Is ThIs ThE NeW GeFoRcE?"
i bursted in laughs xD
18:56 Phil just randomly appears "IS THIS THE NEW GEFORCE?" lmao.
I also like the industrial look with the tubes, they look sick!
Jay, I am saying the following not to annoy you or to insinuate you don't know what you are doing. I simply to make your life easier. For unboxings: Cut the tape at the grooves where you usually take out your products... at the top, open the flaps, then tip the box upside down, slide the box off your product...
You don't damage the product, it's easier on your arms, back, etc etc.
The ultimate you CAN'T buy edition.

December 2021: Finishing My Ultimate ALL AMD Gaming PC Build
I was literally just watching Linus all AMD build vid he posted today
i was too lol
Pretty much my build I'm doing which is why I started watching these videos! I don't have a dark board but have the original. Also was able to get the 5950X but the 6800XT or 6900XT have all been scalped so for now I just got a liquid devil 5700 that I can use and when I can get a 68-69XT I will just upgrade my old PC to give to the kid. Cant wait to see how it turns out so I can see what I can look forward to if I can ever find a GPU.
JAY! I’ve been watching your videos and FINALLY decided do go all in! Your videos help so much! Especially the “What to do after you build a PC”, SOOOO useful! Here is my system:
Case: NZXT H210
CPU: Ryzen 3700X
Motherboard: MSI MAG B550i Gaming Edge Wifi
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200
PSU: CX Series CX650M Semi-modular
Graphics Card: Used XFX RX580
With the prices of new graphics card way too crazy right now here in Canada. Decided to go used until the prices go down. But the RX580 will get me started on gaming!
Thanks for all your videos!
Knowing damn well I can’t afford any of this
"Nothing special" he says about the card you can't buy :P
Regular people: lets see what i can buy to build a pc. Ohh crap, prices are insane and nothing is available.
Jay: Lets build an all AMD system from these parts i have received.
I can't watch this stuff anymore.
Based on the costs, I am planning an AMD Ryzen build and just found your video. Do you have a list of the components used, and are there any modifications after 1 year?
Jay, could you please do something about all the echo in you videos?
