      I do the same thing (start off with incline and move onto machines to hit other areas of the chest) and I recently took inspiration from the Arnold split and I’ve had great results.

    I started doing incline on bench to start my chest days and man I’m never starting off with flat bench again

      @@xbigxbirdxx5846 idk if this is his reason, but if it's similar to CBUM its because incline recruits more secondary muscles and if you work them first, you make sure they get worked and minimize risk to them if you finish with middle pecs when you're exhausted

      @@xbigxbirdxx5846 For incline that would be the upper chest in particular :) you dont need a steep incline to do this either, even 1 notch up on the bench can shift a lot of the work

    I can't imagine lifting without starting with a heavy compound lift.
    I've always been a powerlifter though. Interesting to know body builders do the same thing.

      Barbell movements use to be the foundation of every bodybuilders routine, I think it’s the reason the golden era guys had such deep cuts and definition compared to todays crop of bodybuilders. Modern guys are definitely bigger but much less detail

      @@kylemonster1961 well that’s not a very fair comparison, Hadi has the best, most separated legs in open and bodybuilders who competed in Arnold’s time did not emphasize quad, glute, and hamstring development like athletes do now. Compare their lower backs, traps and arms tho, it’s clear which era utilized heavier compound lifts

      Ive tried doing an iso move first and it does work but it bloody kills your energy for the compound move
      Its called pre-exhuast
      Bad for strength but great for muscle growth and definitly get a huge pump
      Try doing machine flys or something that doest tax the stabaliser muscles of muscle group you have trouble feeling then do the compound move and all youll feel is that muscle

    All the tips we all get are overwhelming but the truth is this . Just show up at the gym every week 3 or 4 days more if you like . But just go and enjoy the gym . And down days that you are just sleepy .... go go go . Only if your body says rest ! You rest . But go every damn day you can be consistand !!!

    End of the day it's listening to guys like Hany, having the genetics for a big full strong chest. Then finding and knowing what exercises work for your body and muscle type. Nothing is a flat out guarantee for everyone across the board. Listening to someone like Hany , following a good diet designed specifically for you & doing the exercises & workout types that work for you is anyones best bet to grow any muscle and know your stacking the deck in your favor for success

    I think what people should really latch onto is the “mind muscle” connection part. Do a chest lift that YOU feel, I find that when I’m getting a nice tension on the muscle cause it’s a movement I know I can isolate, and perform perfectly, I get a better pump,

      Flat barbell bench hurts my right shoulder. I try to get at least 3 sets of flat barbell a week, but I mostly do flat and incline dumbbell presses and some cable work.

      Incline you are hitting all 3 portions of your chest, the other two (flat + decline) you are only hitting the middle and bottom.

      Massive slow reps, the heaviest weight that you can do 100x. I’m talking 20lbs tricep pull downs with a superset push like push-ups. Do 5000-6000 reps weekly, if you can increase the weight, do it. If not keep the same weight until you can; always superset. Nice and slow, you will grow. Good luck🤙🏾

    I have insane shoulder pain in my right shoulder while benchpressing and it is very frustrating it wont go away. Any pointers on how to fix this?

      Lower the weight and focus on contracting the peck. If that doesn’t work switch to dumbbells only or take like a week off and rehab it. Shoulder injuries are no joke and will cause a lifetime of pain, take my advice.

      im sorry man but there could be a ton of different things wrong with it. i would suggest seeing a trainer who could help. if i had to guess, look up elbow valgus, bicep tendon irritation, or weak rotator cuffs and back muscles. could be one of those
