@damon4508 They also don't tune in just because he lifts heavy. More people tune in because he has a good personality and is relatable. I also think Sam cares about bodybuilding just as much, if not more, than he cares about having fans. Listening to a beast like Samson and working out with slightly lighter weight isn't going to cause him to lose any views anyway.

I feel like Sam wasn't enthusiastic about Samson basically shutting down his heavy lifting style, especially on camera. Don't get me wrong Sam is amazing but when you're in the presence of REAL veterans who legit have reached the top of the top, you should humble yourself and accept any and all advice given to you.

This video is a teaching for all those who want to become bodybuilders. When you have an Arnold Classic Heavyweight Champion training with you the only thing you instantly have to do is to completely shut up, listen to EVERYTHING in detail and put everything you hear to the test. That man didn't win by luck, that man is putting his health on the line for ever winning.

Samson is an inspiration indeed.I think sam needed to hear this critiquing. He has tons of potential. I definitely took something away from this video just hearing what samson had to say. When he said, when you lift heavier weight than you should be,( and not that you're not capable of lifting it) you tend to loose focus of the goal of breaking down the muscle and the slow eccentric and squeeze at the top and tend to focus on just moving the weight. Solid advice coming from a professional bodybuilder.

One of the reasons Ronnie Coleman became the goat was because of his powerlifting years . Building the foundation with powerlifting modalities makes sense for bodybuilding as well . To samsons defense Phil heath echoed the same sentiment to will Tennyson so I’m not sure you can go wrong using either method

Sure the heavy lifting had its benefits, but you can lift heavy while being more safe, the heavy ass squat doubles and deadlifts did nothing but hurt him.
