Yellowstone is my Disneyworld. Just wanted to let you know I was having a pretty rough night at work but your Ranger Randy routine really lifted my spirits. Thank you.
lol! Thanks for the reminder - nearly forgot about that one! Totally agree, David! Yellowstone is loaded with fun and diverse activities. Have a wonderful day, my friend!
We did Yellowstone in Aug/Sept 2015 and it was just incredible. It doesn't hit you with spectacular vistas like Grand Canyon or huge mountains like Glacier, but it has a beautiful strangeness to it. The alien thermal features and volcanic geography, the American Savannah teeming with herds of buffalo... We got caught in a buffalo jam, actually, which was an awe-inspiring experience. We also stayed in Old Faithful Inn with one of the vintage rooms that looked right out onto the eponymous geyser. I'm an architecture nerd too, so curling up in front of that huge fireplace in the evenings was something special. Yellowstone really is a place of global significance. Even as a Canadian, visiting the very first national park ever is something of a pilgrimage. Everybody who can should see it. We'll undoubtedly be going back someday sooner rather than later.
Hey Cory, sorry I missed this fine comment of yours! Clearly need to be checking the "spam folder" (who knows why Google placed it there???) more frequently! Anyway, that was well-said!!! Hope you have a fantastic week!
i still have about 10 minutes left to watch but I just wanted to say that so far this has been AMAZING!! Such beautiful scenery, awesome commentary, wonderful family, and super fun to watch :) Im glad i stumbled across your channel! I vlog as well so we're in the same fam! lol Big thumbs up from me and I subbed! :)
Hey Liam, thanks for watching and passing along your very kind and encouraging comments! I have a blast visiting these national parks with family and looking for cool ways to convey my trips with others. Checked out a few of your videos - you're big time, dude! Very funny and creative! God bless, my friend! Subscribed!
Randy, Another excellent tour of AMERICA's PARKS with Rangers Randy and Kayla! ($1.00 for a picture with Ranger Randy!). Great job showing us how getting away from the intense visitor areas that Yellowstone is so wonderful (and Kayla gives us a visual on the odor of the sulfur pit). People or Mosquitoes (your choice!) Yes, bear spray a good idea. THANK YOU for taking us all along on the Mt. Washburn Trail. Rugged and great views at 16,243 feet elevation! . . . Mike
Yellowstone is my all time favorite national park. I tend to go at least once a yea,r if not two or three times a year. I think I probably know it like the back of my hand, so is fun to watch your video because I know where all these places are. Thank you for sharing this video. Next best thing to being there myself.
haha! Yeah, this was one of the first videos I made. It was back in the day when I might have had a couple family members watch it. Corny and long on the cutout, but fun times with my daughter! Thanks for watching! :)
Right on! You have great taste! Hoping to come out with a video highlighting my 15 favorite National Parks - those two you mentioned are #'s 2 and 3. Enjoyed Dry Tortugas the best. Hope you can get out to these places and that your Lord's Day was blessed!
Sorry for the very late reply - just noticed this comment (and others) in my “spam folder." Thanks for watching, sharing the nice words! Have a great week!
Very true! The big National Parks are becoming difficult to visit, just not a pleasant experience with the crowds. Good to find things off the typical tourist paths!
Americas Parks Yeah that’s what I’ve heard and its too bad. We had a wonderful time in southern Utah visiting all the national parks about 10 years ago, but I hear its not quite the same anymore. I mean its good more people want to get out into nature. But now there’s too many! Lol. I agree, find things off the beaten path. That is my plan from now on. And/or visit very off season! :)
I’m intrigued to know if you have ever came across a bear or mountain lion on any of your hikes?? Scares me to pieces!!! I’d rather the snakes and spiders in Australia any day!!

Yellowstone is truly a most wonderful place.
Sure is, Martin! Truly one of the most unique parks.

Ranger Randy - That was one of the silly moments of America's Parks history!

Great to hear, Sue! God bless you during these tough times!
The cutout Ranger Randy went longer than expected.... Comedy gold! xD

Awesome:: Except for the cold wind. I like hot""" Summertime :) Great hike by Randy & Hailey.. Thanks to you both!!
Hey Charlie, thanks for pulling this one out of the archives! Couldn't believe it almost hit freezing temps there in the heart of summer!
I know this place from Film 2012, nice park, you soak in the river looks so niceee.. i like ittt
Yes, the river was one of our favorite activities!
We were there just 2 weeks before you! I wouldn't have known you then, but would have stopped to listen to the 3' Ranger! LOL
lol! I'm sure others found it rather comical too! Fun memories...
Love YNP. Have several vids from there. My favorite time of year was Winter. So peaceful then.
Nice to meet friends on UA-cam with a interest in the Parks! Enjoy!
Awesome video guys
Thank you very much! Have a great weekend!
This is my 2nd most wanted park to visit behind only the Grand Canyon. God beauty on display

Hilarious! Great trip! Thanks for posting!
Appreciate the kind comment, Joel. Glad you enjoyed it!
That looks like so much fun to do with your daughter! Yeah I’ve heard the crowds have gotten bad. Good idea to find something to do with less people.

Appreciate your kind words.
Way too many people for me to fully enjoy Yellowstone , gotta go when it's not that crowded
Yes, very true, Jordan! Thanks for the comment!
Really cute video!!
Thanks for watching!
The 3 foot ranger part XD
Thanks, Nick! This was one of the older videos - silly - but glad I left it in. Nice to have some fun with life. Take care!
I’m intrigued to know if you have ever came across a bear or mountain lion on any of your hikes?? Scares me to pieces!!! I’d rather the snakes and spiders in Australia any day!!
Yeah, never a mountain lion. Have seen a bear (maybe 2), but they were always far away. Think it's my big mouth that scare them off! lol!
Yellowstone is a great place I live around an hour away and it so cool ... I usually try going bear hunting with a camera not a gun
Such a beautiful park and those bears are indeed some of the most incredible animals. We didn't get to see any. Thanks for watching!
I also hiked Mt.washburn
You are blessed to experience all these wonderful hikes at such a young age. You'll always cherish the memories!
Yes
