We'll be following in your footsteps in just a few months! Doing Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton. Watching all your videos for the 10th time! Thanks Pastor Randy! Can't wait to see where you go this summer.
Beautiful! Sure looks like you and your son had an incredible time together! Your fabulous video sure makes me want to go back, but wow, it sure is a long way from South Texas! Thank you for sharing your amazing adventures!
What a part 1! So true, expect the unexpected. No doubt this first father-son trip has created precious memories! Yellowstone without the crowds is the dream, great that the rain made it work to you two!
Thanks so much for the kind words! For the first trip, Shane did pretty good. Don't think he really appreciated the beauty of nature, but it was a good time together to build our relationship. Take care!
Great seeing Father-son travels to Yellowstone! I appreciate your comment, "you deal with what the good Lord gives you, and make the best out of your situation, or you just stay home"..good word for the day we live in, too!
Hello Randy ! Nice to be out there with your son alone ...just men’s! It reminds me our days there ...such a beautiful park ! So no showers in the campground...😳 on our trip in Gaspésie Quebec we were at Park Canada Forillon , the campground had showers and an employee did the cleaning 3 times every day but one third of the campground was closed for the season . In the other places we did , private campgrounds didn’t have any showers but with our camping trailer and with 3 services we were ok for a shower in our camping trailer . See you in part 2 ...going there now ! I was quite busy lately...did our 22 days road trip and started editing it and putting aside the editing of our 84 days trip until i am finish . Have a great day ! H&S 👩❤️👨🌈🇨🇦
So I was working in my bedroom when the notification came in about a new video. When I saw the thumbnail I blurted out "Oh Wow" my six year old daughter Kaylee came running in and said "What Dad?". I told her that you had posted a new video and it was at Yellowstone . "Let's do this" she said LOL. We have been watching a ton of your videos this summer (a story I'll save for another day, but like her Dad she's a big fan. When we realized this was you and Shane's firs Father/Son adventure we were so happy for you guys. What a great park to start with too. Shane did a great job on camera!!!! It has been fun watching him grow into that :) Fun to see the park through your eyes with upgraded gear from the last time you were there too. What a difference. I do modest trip planning for folks at times and as you shared here the best advice I can give is being able to adapt to best laid plans :) KAYLEE wanted to say something too: She hopes Shane had a great time. He must have been very Happy to be there with his Dad :) Much love to you guys and can't wait for part 2
That was beautiful, Jymn! Encouraged by the heart you have for your family! Happy to know the videos bring your joy and wholesome entertainment. All the best to Kaylee too!
Absolutely gorgeous!! My family and I went here for the first time in 2006. It is still to this day the most amazing and beautiful place I have ever seen. There is no where else like it. Grand Prismatic Springs was completely amazing to me, but when I saw the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone for the first time... it was a view I will never forget. One of the most astonishing, breathtaking views I have ever been blessed to see. What a beautiful park to go to for your first father/son trip together. 😍🙏🏞
Love your videos, man. No doubt you spend a lot of time, energy, and money producing them. Our family went to Yellowstone and several other National Parks last month and we had a blast. Luckily we missed the rain. We camped at Grant Village and hearing the wolves howl at night was something we will remember forever. Keep up the great work! My wife and I are hoping to make it to Biscayne, Everglades, and Dry Tortugas next year for our anniversary.

Nice! My wife and I were just reminiscing today about our trip to Yellowstone in 2015... We a did full loop coming in from the north: 1 night at Roosevelt Lodge, 1 night at Lake Lodge, 3 nights at Old Faithful Inn (with an "old house" room that looked directly onto the geyser!), and a final night at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel before heading back to Canada (via 1 night at Glacier Park Lodge). It was AMAZING! We didn't hike but we did hit all the geyser basins, a Yellowstone Lake cruise, Fishing Bridge, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Mammoth Hot Springs, a BBQ cookout, a sunset tour in one of the vintage yellow White Buses, the museum and the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, Obsidian Cliff, AND got caught in a buffalo jam for well over an hour with our car completely surrounded... An absolutely magical experience, and when the border opens back up, we'd totally do it again!
This was such a sweet video of you and your son. We were there a few weeks ago with our 8 year old granddaughter and it is amazing to get to experience these sights through their eyes. Hopefully, Shane will tell what his favorite thing in the park was!

Ahh man, awesome video! I was just there for a week at Canyon Lodge taking my girlfriend on her first national park road trip. Amazing experience. Wish we could have said hi!
we just had to make the best of the smoke in yosemite// and you are right, just make the best of it! was fine// now we're under the smoke at home and your videos are taking us outside since we are stuck inside... good poker face i love it hahaha! so much amazing scenery here i could go on forever/ great campground and crazy weather! // boiling river is the only part of yellowstone i have ever been too, was neat to swim in winter with elk along the shore.../ but you got to see the Really Good stuff, so many Sites!! //thanks so much for taking us with you//
Funny b/c Boiling River was the top place I was looking to share with Shane. :) Neat to hear you've enjoyed that unique experience! Sorry about the wildfires - crazy - stay safe out there!
Such an iconic Park for you two to have Shane’s first trip alone with Dad! I’ll be looking forward to part 2 and Shane, you’ll be looking forward to whatever your next adventure with Dad will be...just be ready ! 🤗
I doubt I'm the first person to mention this, but you remind me so much of the actor John Astin both in voice and your face as well! Thank you for your wonderful video; I really enjoyed watching you and your son enjoy Yellowstone National Park and find the information you gave so valuable since I've never been there before but so much want to go there!
Hey Jason, actually that's the first I heard of that comparison. Totally remember that guy from the Addams Family! Happy to hear you found the video useful and entertaining. Incredible place!
Wow.. been watching your videos and my family appreciates them! I did have a question. Is there anyway you could give us an “essentials packing” list that you take with you when you go to these places? Again.. thank you!!
Hey, thanks so much, Robert! Yes, I keep an extensive packing list that I use as a "checklist" before every trip. Send me an email and I'll forward you a copy. americasparks1@gmail.com
How fun to do a guys trip! We’ve spent 7-8 days in Yellowstone & Grand Teton the past 2 summers. Sadly not this year & I am missing it. It was extra fun to see your adventure. The best thing about rain in Wyoming are the rainbows.
We've learned as well to always expect the unexpected! From flat tires, to downpours, snowstorms, windstorms, wrong turns; but its what makes the adventure memorable. Looks like you had a lot of fun in Yellowstone! Can't wait to see what other adventures you two will go on out West 😃
Damn man, everytime i look at the likes vs dislikes theres only like 2 dislikes. You dont deserve any dislikes. Keep up the great work man, every time i see these videos your putting out great content.
Shane: They look like little hot tubs. Me: You got that right kid! I actually like hiking in the rain or walking on a boardwalk in the rain. Looks so fabulous! Great job Shane!
Randy, Is this really the first Dad and Shane-only trip? Well, what a great choice - and since this one is still on my list to see - you both provided a great list of what I want to see. This is a great add-on to the trip in 2016 with Kayla, and what great tour guides you all are. I think I need to plan my trip when weather is bad to have better access! THANK YOU FOR THE POINTERS! (on to episode #2) . . . Mike
Yes, we'e done some little things together, but as for a big NP trip - this was the first one! Thanks for the encouragement. Can't go wrong with Yellowstone!
This video is perfect timing! We literally just booked flights to Yellowstone this morning and will be there for several days at the end of September. Round trip flights for under $100!
Just on our way home from a father son trip to Michigan's UP. Love the new video. Yellowstone is so incredible. Took my daughter and wife there last summer.
@@AmericasParks Yeah it was a great trip. We did allot of day hiking. My son is 18 and in college, so we aren't close to being done investing in him yet. LOL, but I know that's not what you meant. My daughter already started school or she would have been with us. My wife stayed home with the dog. Too much hiking for them this trip, but my wife and I am taking a fall color camping trip in October. Take care!
Sure was! I believe Shane was still a little young to really appreciate the natural beauty. But it's a start for him and we had a lot of good father-son times.
Yellowstone really is a national treasure. You could spend two weeks there and not get bored. We were there July 2019. Fantastic! If you have the time and you are at the southern part of the “figure 8”, you can incorporate Grand Teton NP also.
So true! IMHO it's the only park I could spend an entire week at. We actually hit GT before Yellowstone. Hope to get the vid up in a couple weeks. So cool to have those parks as a 1-2 punch in proximity.
The wife says Daddy’s gotta a new video out we need to watch😁 Beautiful Park we love it out west. Can’t wait to go back👍 She says he’s such a cool dad.
What a great video! I'm been considering a trip to Yellowstone, and it was great to hear your thoughts on all the sights. P.S. I think the like to dislike ratio says everything about your channel :)
I miss backpacking and fishing around Cascade Lake awesome back packing camp grounds there. I think they’re close due to Covid but we’ll worth a trip if y’all ever get a chance. Yellowstone, Grand Teton awesome National Parks. Great video 👍 happy trails.
Again, another beautiful video!! Hey, this 55 year old lady just climbed the Beehive at Acadia NP because I watched you do it!! Way outside of my comfort zone, but I did it!! Thank you!! We will be heading to Utah in May and we are looking forward to Angels Landing!!
Way to go, Amy!!! Love that hike at Acadia! Moving up in the world with Angels Landing now! It's definitely more intense. Hopefully they will have it open by then.
Great start to the trip Randy. Looking forward to seeing part 2. Yellowstone is my wife's personal favorite( we went back in 2013) and the weather was amazing. Only had 1 day to squeeze stop sin though so a return trip is a must do someday! We also visited in August but camped at Grand Teton.
Hello America's Park's😊😊! Father and son trip, I love it! Great to see you and Shane enjoying all that Yellowstone has to offer. I have been to Yellowstone and Grand Teton as part of a cross country road trip from RI to Seattle, and it was a round trip and we visited Yellowstone and Grand Teton on the way back. I absolutely love those parks. Great video Randy. Looking forward to the next video. Btw, I have a vacation week in October and planning to revisit Northern Michigan attractions such as Sleeping Bear Dunes and Pictured Rocks. I'm really looking forward to the fall colors and the brisk air hiking the trails.
First National Park and a brilliant way to share it with your son. I know there must be lots of real tourist hot spots, which I try to avoid but one thing for me would be a must see and that is Hardest? Point, the view down to the waterfall was insane, no matter how many people were there I would have to see that and film it. I would be like you, either hit these spots at 05.00 or 17.00, I like the sound of having them all to myself, cheers Alan
Spent 2 days and 1 night at Yellowstone early July and it was defnitiely an amazing trip! Went to all the spots you mentioned in this video. Tons of beautiful memories!
Very cool adventure! Well done, Shane and Dad! I'm headed to Half Dome in about two weeks. I'm so thankful for all of the tips in your videos (and in your comments).
This video actually brought back a lot of good memories of when I took my trip up there around 3 years ago. Really great camera work and you brought us right into the park and attractions with you guys. I am looking forward to seeing day 2 at the park. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
Really makes me want to jump in the car and take a cross-country road trip! Awesome you got to see so many of those places with not many people around! Do you guys fly to the location and then rent a car?
@@AmericasParks okay that's what I thought you said in the past videos just making sure. Going to have to do that soon then sounds like the best way to go! Dang! Thank you!
Made it official today to visit Yellowstone National Park next year in July for a whole week. Because of Covid-19, hanging with nature seems to be safer dealing with small crowds. Going to be coming back to your videos frequently about Yellowstone, on what to see in the park. I do want to go on casual hikes in the park as well. I was wondering did you do a video yet on what to bring on a light hike in national parks? I am trying to see what should I bring since I am flying to Yellowstone.
That's wonderful - enjoy your trip! In our 2 Yellowstone videos, we hit most of the popular sites. Glad you've found them helpful! And "no" on the video for packing, but it is a great suggestion! Thanks!
There are a lot of tremendous parks in North America but nothing comes close to Yellowstone! For its uniqueness and what it has to offer, its really in a class of its own.
absolutely LOVE Yellowstone as my family and I have been there 13 times... Cant wait to take my wife there for her first time as we are trying to hit every NTL park in the US..
I love Yellowstone and cannot wait to take my kids there when they get a little bigger. Love the channel. Especially Arches. That is where my wife and I got engaged. Quick question for you, what kind of camera do you use for the videos?
Thank you for your kind words and many you be blessed as well! We fly to all our destinations west of the Mississippi. It would just eat up too much vacation time to drive out there from NJ.
I did this late Sept. Not really crowded. Amazing place. Never got tired of the thermal features. It was a lot dryer though. Was there when the bear took down the elk, THAT was cool!
Sweet NP line-up! Have a super time at Yellowstone. No other place like it on the planet. Plan to have day #2 (all the geyser basins) uploaded by tomorrow evening). Take care!
@@mememaguire3310 The hike up to the grand prismatic (Midway Basin) overlook is phenomenal. We also did Norris first thing in the morning and had the whole place to ourselves.
When I was there back in June, as I may have already told you on another comment somewhere, when it was very overcast, but didn't rain; the road to Grand Canyon o.t.Y. was closed off, due to construction. Also, it appears you saw you herd of bison somewhere in the geyser area, whereas I saw mine in the Lamar Valley.
Yes, Lamar Valley was the only area we were not able to visit. Remember from the past that place being a great location to see wildlife. Now the whole East side of the upper "figure 8" was closed off.
Thanks and great to hear of the investment you are making with your son! Clearly more "work" and not too sure how much he really appreciated the nature, but quality time together and much ground gained in our relationship.
we live 90 miles from the park in Idaho Falls and only make it up there every two or three years! shame on us! a beautiful, stunning and amazing park. one of our great treasures!
It's like no other place on the planet. Heard they got some snow this week! Funny, we went to Idaho (first time for me) after we left Yellowstone. Twin Falls area. Great state!
I am curious as to your thought about visiting Yellowstone during the covid virus time. Were the visitor centers open? I had heard that Old faithful inn was closed.
Hey Martin, we didn't check the visitor centers, but there were rangers outside to provide assistance. Thankfully the campgrounds were open - but no showers. I'd say about 30-50% were wearing masks in the crowded areas. Personally felt safe.
Yellowstone is my favorite park and I've been to 48 of them. Also, I was wondering if we could do a collaboration video where I could do a Q&A with you. If you would agree to, I could set up a Zoom call and we could do the interview with that. It would be a great honor.
Would be happy to. Send me an email at americasparks1@gmail.com with some times you are available in the evening. Don't have my schedule, but mostly free after 8PM est. -Randy
Americas Parks I sent you an email. In case you don’t see it, would Monday (tomorrow) at 8pm work? Let me know if you get the email so I can send the Zoom link to the right person. Thanks!
We never swore growing up so the ultimate insult my sis and I would call each other is 'Buffalo Butt'. To this day every time I see a buffalo I just smile and reminisce the wonder years. //I'm blinded by that yellow sweater but thumbs up for the Cubs hat.
There is so much to see at that park. I am looking forward to the day when I make it out there. Too bad about so much being closed at the campground. The lack of showers would really bother me.
I hear ya! Always look forward to crawling in the sleeping bag clean and starting the day with a refreshing shower. Thankfully, nearly everything else worked out great!
Very nice brother randy 👌 I went there 2 years ago after my road trip from canada 🇨🇦 and I haven’t posted it up to now hahaha.. Soo happy to see you enjoying the places that our Lord created.
How are you doing guys ihope you are fine iam new subscriber Arabic lady citizen thank you for showing us such magnificent landscapes beauty of nature you as guide tourist encourage us to read information about places unknown to us we as foreigners subscribers enjoy to explore places unknown to us impossible for us to travel there so that would you mind if add some main information about places you visited to increase our cultural level iwish for your channel more success and progress stay safe blessed good luck to you your dearest ones
My daughter is in the air now on her way to YS. Her Honeymoon. She has been to YS several times but this will be her husbands first visit. We watch your vidoes often. They have 6 days there and 4 at Glacier.
Geezy walked up to big geyser. 300 foot one with his HS class it went off. Years between activity. You never know. My number one area is hike from lower to upper falls. I never go to artist. Stay on North Rim side walk whole thing. 6 miles all of it. I go up Mount Washburn but cut off follow trail out mile on upper ridge.
I hope you guys catch/caught Steamboat Geyser erupting since it's been highly active recently! I'm a massive geology nerd (I've probably said that on a previous video, sorry if I'm repeating XD), so the geology of Yellowstone fascinates me so much. I miss it, but it's so expensive and neither I nor my family can afford to go visit anytime soon :(
Hi Natalie, we were really rushed at Norris Basin and didn't hear anything of Steamboat erupting when we were there. However, just as we got home, I began reading the headlines. Would have been really cool! BTW, another viewer going to Yellowstone just mentioned he picked up $100 RT tickets. Take care!
My husband and I are leaving in two weeks. And I can’t decide what clothes to bring. Looks like it will be super cold in the morning and up to 70 in the afternoon. Any tips?
Yes, pretty much sums up the weather. Check the forecast before you go, but I'd expect the mid-30's at night. Coldest around 4-6 am. A good sleeping bag and a wool cap is the key for me. Try to visit the popular places early in the morning to beat the crowds. It was super cool being at Norris Basin nearly all by ourselves (part 2 video). Definitely take the hike up to the observation point to view Grand Prismatic (part 2 video). Stop by the ranger area near Old Faithful to see what times the geysers are erupting. Enjoy!!!
Thankfully most everything is open at Yellowstone. Gets a little busy in the summer, but most of the people kept their distance from each other. covid-free would be nice again!
@@AmericasParks I'm in Sydney Australia though! Got to Yosemite a few years ago and Yellowstone was closed at the time. I think travel overseas for us starts July 2021 at the earliest! I love your videos :)
What do you do to be able to travel so much? I’d love to travel to different states and hike different parks but it’s a lot for our family of 5. Any tips? Can you do a video about it?
I am a pastor of a large church with roughly 5 weeks off/year (including holidays). When we travel, we go pretty hard - hitting many locations. Little rest and down-time. Thankfully we enjoy it and travel rather inexpensively... And great suggestion! Yes, others have asked for that - think I'll try to get something up in the future.
Americas Parks my husband is self employed and I’m a stay at home mom so we have a flexible schedule...the problem is the money bec were a family of 5. Although, my step son is 21 and my son 17 and both have jobs so maybe at least the older one can chip in some money. I just wish we could explore the mid west. One of my item in my bucket list is to hike and explore Montana, Colorado, Idaho area
@@ivi122 I'd encourage you to plan it out and make it happen. Not sure on your travel arrangements, but we save a ton of money by eating many (not all) of the meals out of the car and camping.
Americas Parks yeah you’re going to have to do a video lol 😆. You guys travel so much, I’m jealous in a good way. We have been to states in the East but never to the mid west and west.
If you don't mind paying a little more, Billings (or Idaho Falls) is relatively close. As for economical airports, we flew into Denver (great deal on the flights) (Salt Lake City is an option too). Unfortunately, it's a hike with the car.

Thanks so much, Jonathan! Totally agree - All things considered, YS is the most diverse and unique Park. The Lord's blessings to you, brother!

we just had to make the best of the smoke in yosemite// and you are right, just make the best of it! was fine// now we're under the smoke at home and your videos are taking us outside since we are stuck inside... good poker face i love it hahaha! so much amazing scenery here i could go on forever/ great campground and crazy weather!
@@AmericasParks he'll get there one way or another eventually// a reason to go back
great video watched you since you where

Thanks for the kind support! All the best to you!
Such an iconic Park for you two to have Shane’s first trip alone with Dad! I’ll be looking forward to part 2 and Shane, you’ll be looking forward to whatever your next adventure with Dad will be...just be ready ! 🤗
That was great, James! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and encouraged by your kind words!
Awhh we just missed you guys!! We were there yesterday! Great top picks!!
Bummer! Would have been great to run into you guys. Hope you had a wonderful time!
Americas Parks Thank you! We love your videos, they’ve helped us plan our whole National Parks road trip! So fun!
How fun to do a guys trip! We’ve spent 7-8 days in Yellowstone & Grand Teton the past 2 summers. Sadly not this year & I am missing it. It was extra fun to see your adventure. The best thing about rain in Wyoming are the rainbows.
Great to read, Renee! Hopefully you'll get back in 2021!
amazing!such a amazing place and such an excellent video!your videos are definitely most atrracting in UA-cam
That is very kind of you, Max! Really appreciate the encouragement!
We've learned as well to always expect the unexpected! From flat tires, to downpours, snowstorms, windstorms, wrong turns; but its what makes the adventure memorable. Looks like you had a lot of fun in Yellowstone! Can't wait to see what other adventures you two will go on out West 😃
Hey Andy! Right on - they always seem to make for the best memories. Let me tell you as a sneak preview... From Wyoming we went to Idaho. Good times!
@@AmericasParks Wow, Idaho sounds neat! I bet there are some fun places to see there.
OMG.. you grow so fastt.. well desever 27K fantastic fam .. Yellow stone is in my list .. checckkkkkk
Thanks! One of America's best National Parks!
Damn man, everytime i look at the likes vs dislikes theres only like 2 dislikes. You dont deserve any dislikes. Keep up the great work man, every time i see these videos your putting out great content.
Thanks, buddy... Never know what goes through the mind of others! lol!
@@AmericasParks very true man haha stay safe and healthy man
Shane: They look like little hot tubs.
Me: You got that right kid!
I actually like hiking in the rain or walking on a boardwalk in the rain. Looks so fabulous! Great job Shane!
Thanks, Heather! Shane will be encouraged! And the rain - sure does keep the crowds away as well!
So beautiful! We’re hoping to visit sometime in the next year. :)
Wonderful! Hope it works out for you guys. Nothing in the world like Yellowstone!
This video is perfect timing! We literally just booked flights to Yellowstone this morning and will be there for several days at the end of September. Round trip flights for under $100!
Amazing deal on the plane tickets! Hopefully the crowds will thin out a little by then. Looking to get part 2 up in a few days. Have a super time!
i'm planning for a trip to GTeton and YStone in a year or two. Where is the best place to fly in to?
Just on our way home from a father son trip to Michigan's UP. Love the new video. Yellowstone is so incredible. Took my daughter and wife there last summer.
Thanks and trust you had a great trip to the UP! Keep investing in those kids!
Take care!
Another great video. I definitely plan on visiting Yellowstone eventually someday. Looks like a great father-son trip.
Sure was! I believe Shane was still a little young to really appreciate the natural beauty. But it's a start for him and we had a lot of good father-son times.
Amazing POV of Yellowstone sledgehammered that like button stay safe awesome and blessed
Thanks so much!
You are married to a fine lady, my friend! :)
What a great video! I'm been considering a trip to Yellowstone, and it was great to hear your thoughts on all the sights.
P.S. I think the like to dislike ratio says everything about your channel :)
Really appreciate all that, Fordson! Have a super week!
I miss backpacking and fishing around Cascade Lake awesome back packing camp grounds there. I think they’re close due to Covid but we’ll worth a trip if y’all ever get a chance. Yellowstone, Grand Teton awesome National Parks. Great video 👍 happy trails.
Good taste and would really enjoy exploring more of this beautiful Park! Thanks and have a super week!
She has good taste! :) Hope you can get back, brother. Nothing like it!
Hey Al, I've been to Upper MI a couple times in the Fall - absolutely beautiful! Trust you will have a great time!
@@AmericasParks Sounds great! Last time I was up there we got swarmed by mosquitos and midges, so fall season is going to be much more comfortable.
Love Yellowstone! I was there this past June.
Wonderful to hear! Everyone needs to see this place at least once in their lives!
Shane's first Yellowstone trip? Excellent. All 62 have some good points, but none of them beat Yellowstone!
Thanks...and right on, Rick! Arguable the best when all things considered!
Right on, Alan! I make some more of your fine points in part 2. Thanks for watching!
Great video Randy. Thanks for filming, Andy
Appreciate that!
Spent 2 days and 1 night at Yellowstone early July and it was defnitiely an amazing trip! Went to all the spots you mentioned in this video. Tons of beautiful memories!
Wonderful and thankful you were able to relive your good times. Hope to get part 2 up in a week. Take care!
The hot spots with your son were cool! (Pun intended). It's great to remember Yellowstone thru your lens & commentary. Thanks, as usual.
Yes, didn't make a big deal of that, but other than one of my children you are the first to pick up on the pun! Thanks, Bob, appreciate your kindness!
Very cool adventure! Well done, Shane and Dad! I'm headed to Half Dome in about two weeks. I'm so thankful for all of the tips in your videos (and in your comments).
Thanks sweet, Chris! HD is still my favorite hike. Enjoy!
This video actually brought back a lot of good memories of when I took my trip up there around 3 years ago. Really great camera work and you brought us right into the park and attractions with you guys. I am looking forward to seeing day 2 at the park. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
Thanks, Eric! One-of-a-kind place!
Really makes me want to jump in the car and take a cross-country road trip! Awesome you got to see so many of those places with not many people around! Do you guys fly to the location and then rent a car?
Yes, exactly what we do. Just heard from a guy going to Yellowstone who bought $100 RT tickets. Glad to hear about your recovery!
@@AmericasParks okay that's what I thought you said in the past videos just making sure. Going to have to do that soon then sounds like the best way to go! Dang! Thank you!
Great stuff!! My favorite spot on earth!!
Good taste, Ed!
Thanks!
Joyce and I always enjoy your trips 👍
Much appreciated, Jim!
We were there the 19th too at the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, mammoth and the terrace grille that same day, we just missed you by minutes.
Wow Jeff, would have been great to run into you guys! Trust you had a wonderful time!
Americas Parks anytime in the parks is a wonderful time!
There are a lot of tremendous parks in North America but nothing comes close to Yellowstone! For its uniqueness and what it has to offer, its really in a class of its own.
So true... the beauty, diverseness and uniqueness has to put it on the top! Take care!
absolutely LOVE Yellowstone as my family and I have been there 13 times... Cant wait to take my wife there for her first time as we are trying to hit every NTL park in the US..
Amazing...13 visits to Yellowstone! All the best to achieve your goal!
@@AmericasParks Thank you and solid content..
I love Yellowstone and cannot wait to take my kids there when they get a little bigger. Love the channel. Especially Arches. That is where my wife and I got engaged. Quick question for you, what kind of camera do you use for the videos?
Wonderful to hear of your goals and thanks for the kind words! As of the past 12 months I have been using a Panasonic Lumix G9.
Love your travels, did you fly to Yellowstone or drive from NJ? May God continue to Bless you and your beautiful family.
What an amazing sight that must have been! And nice to hear the crowds weren't too bad either. Tough to beat Yellowstone!
Yahoo wow this just wow man
Thanks so much! Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend!
I am on a trip right now from the Rockies, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier! We are going to Yellowstone tomorrow!
Sweet NP line-up! Have a super time at Yellowstone. No other place like it on the planet. Plan to have day #2 (all the geyser basins) uploaded by tomorrow evening). Take care!
Americas Parks we are currently at the geysers right now! Very cool!
@@mememaguire3310 The hike up to the grand prismatic (Midway Basin) overlook is phenomenal. We also did Norris first thing in the morning and had the whole place to ourselves.
Americas Parks Nice! We love the place
waow a very memorable vacation with the family, and the place is amazing👍🏼
Thank you for the kind words!
Shane is growing like a weed..making Great Father/Son memories..thanks for sharing Pastor Randy!!!
Yeah, he sure is. We're wondering if he'll catch me at 6.4. :) Thanks for the nice comment, Glenn! Have a blessed Lord's Day!
Way to have a father son trip! I just got done with my first last week😁👍🏼!
I have been to 47. It is my #1 as well.
Thanks!
Wonderful! Just replied.
@@AmericasParks I got your email about doing the Zoom tonight. That will work. I have sent you the Zoom link and can't wait to see you at 8 tonight!
Hey Randy, did you bring your tent gear with you to the park?
Yes, we tent camped in the one of the park's campgrounds.
We never swore growing up so the ultimate insult my sis and I would call each other is 'Buffalo Butt'. To this day every time I see a buffalo I just smile and reminisce the wonder years. //I'm blinded by that yellow sweater but thumbs up for the Cubs hat.
haha! Nothing like Yellowstone... or my choice of sweatshirts!
I am hopefully going to yellowstone next year!
Wonderful, Clara! Nothing like Yellowstone in the world!
Very nice brother randy 👌 I went there 2 years ago after my road trip from canada 🇨🇦 and I haven’t posted it up to now hahaha.. Soo happy to see you enjoying the places that our Lord created.

My daughter is in the air now on her way to YS. Her Honeymoon. She has been to YS several times but this will be her husbands first visit. We watch your vidoes often. They have 6 days there and 4 at Glacier.
Love it - honeymoons at the National Parks! You have trained your children well! :) Hope they have a great time!
Living the Dream 👆🏻👏🏻🇺🇸
Amen to that, Ron! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Enjoy!!!
Did you like Yellowstone or grand tetons more?
So hard to compare. Yellowstone is more unique and memorable, Teton is more spectacular for views and hikes, imho.
What's the music playing in the background around the 3 minute mark?
It's called "Secrets and Lies" by David Celeste. It comes from a subscription plan to "Epidemic Sound."
We heading there on Tuesday! Maybe we will run into you.
Hey David, we just returned home... but have a fantastic trip!
Always wanted to go! Not sure when I can get there though now with covid :(
Thankfully most everything is open at Yellowstone.
@@daylight2nd Yeah, that could make it a challenge! :) Appreciate the kind words! Have a super week!
I was there in Early August this year also and I can Tell you Video and Pics do not Do Yellowstone Justice!
So true! People need to see this place with their own eyes. Nothing like it in the world.
SMT S, true, but it's the next best thing to being there.
What’s the best airport to fly to going to Yellowstone?
If you don't mind paying a little more, Billings (or Idaho Falls) is relatively close. As for economical airports, we flew into Denver (great deal on the flights) (Salt Lake City is an option too). Unfortunately, it's a hike with the car.
What city do you fly into when you visit Yellowstone?
We did Denver. Some cities are closer. but you'll end of paying more.
👍🏻😍
Thanks for watching!
