Just makes videos on collections and friend's collections, all to show us some neat stuff. Tim is just a gem... Never a dull day when I sit down with my lunch and cookies to watch him. 25 yr old me, just letting good old Granddad talk about all the neat stuff in his collection. @SnowTerebi 6 років тому +4

    So... what is the effect used on that business card called?

    • @Dr0dd
      @Dr0dd 6 років тому

      it's basically a printed mesh film.

    • @SnowTerebi
      @SnowTerebi 6 років тому

      TY for the reply. But I still don't understand why it is only visible from one side :(

    • @Dr0dd
      @Dr0dd 6 років тому

      Essentially it's a grid. From one side the grid is printed with the motif, from the other it's not.
      On the printed side the eye focuses more on the printed motif than the light visible through the holes, from the other side it focuses on the holes more than the grid.
      You can see that for example on advertisements on buses (if they extend to the windows). However for this card they used a very fine grid mesh, making the effect even more noticeable.
