Thank you. We use a mobile phone to film down the kaleidoscopes; they have a very small lens, and you can get the lens right up to the kaleidoscope eyepiece. Also they shoot at 4K resolution, so that matches the main camera.
Tim's videos are the kaleidoscope to my heart. ☺️ 'Jolly good' is the only adjective I can come up with that perfectly describes how I feel after watching these videos. ☺️
Your video make me want to buy so many cool and old toys! And your voice is always nice to listen to. (Sorry if that'd weird lol, it's just so soothing)
I made it my routine and I literally can't fall asleep without his voice now. Tim could talk about the dust particles on the table and I'd still watch it until the end
Wonderful! I have always been fascinated by kaleidoscopes.. The problem I have found, with the conventional 3 mirror jobs is that the mirrors get dirty with time, causing the image dull. The best material for the moving contents in by view (no pun intended) is an assortment of iridescent coloured glass fragments, as the real magic happens when the colours then blend.. Nice show Tim. Thank you! 👍
I wonder if a prism splitter exists that works with a kaleidoscope, that way you could look into one end with a camera recording what you're seeing. Might make for good reaction videos.
It's really impressive that we actually get a look inside.
The camera work is just as astonishing as the toys presented.

@@grandillusions Wow thank you guys I was asking myself the exact same question for so long.
The last one was extraordinarily extraordinary

Also Swan Lake is an absolutely gorgeous piece! 🦢
Fascinating view to view from the eyepiece
This might be one of the best videos you've ever done on this channel.
Thank you so much for never, not even once, dissapointing me.
Love these videos, Tim is like the Bob Ross of toys
i'd love to see the brass battery-driven, sound-activated one react to Christmas music!
This is my happy place on UA-cam
Wonderful to see more of your kaleidescopes,Tim!

I think so too

Today I learned a new word: teleidoscope. So my first "kaleidoscope" that I received when I was 5 years old was actually a teleidoscope.
I like the idea of a Kaleidoscope that reacts to things other than visible light.
I love your videos. Keep it up!
Can we stop and appreciate that this guy is so old but still working to give us content?
Oh, I knew what that tune was but I couldn't remember the title.
Some are too pure for this earth
The last one probably needs an epilepsy warning...

Nunca tuve un calidoscopio en mí vida.
La verdad que me gustaría tener uno.
