No kidding. I spent like 45 minutes trying to feed the line through. Staring at the "instruction card". I am still struggling to wind the line back INTO the spool. This is by far the most tedious reloading of a a weed wacker I have ever encountered. Wild! Thank you for your help. 😉

I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.

Thank you!! I can’t put my hands on the manual right now & I’m sitting out here in 101* trying to finish this yard before it gets dark or it storms...both of which are about to happen any minute now & I’ve been trying to do the old school method...pulling it apart etc...I thought my line was out but I had beaucoup left. I didn’t realize this was a bump model. The last weed eater I had was an auto feed (which never worked properly) & this Ryobi is the second weed eater Ive ever owned so I didn’t know anything about bumping...I pulled the head off & about a foot of string flew out so I’ve been trying to manually rewind it & put it back together for about 15 minutes 🥴🥴🥴 I was ready to toss the whole weed eater over the neighbors fence 🤣🤣🤣💯💯💯

Excellent demonstration. Plain and simple and to the point. Took more time to find my wire than putting it in! All of 5 minutes! Great!!👍

I bought mine just this summer at Home Depot. Didn't even come with operating instructions. I had no idea that you can just squeeze the trigger and give a bump on the ground to 'release" the string. Why Ryobi didn't include a quick start guide? I have no idea. I just learned something today. Thanks for the video.

A very clear video! I have reloaded mine once since purchasing it, but forgot how to reload it.
This way was easier than I remember!

Good video. The Ryobi precut lengths that came with my weedeater are about 6 feet long, so you can almost double the load
