Great video. I just picked this item up today. I'm thinking it may be a faulty model... No matter how loose I make the 2 knobs on the arm, it still points upward. I can push it down with some force, but then it pops right back up. Am I doing something wrong, or does it sound like I may have gotten a dud and need to return?
I've been using the SmallRig ring for a while now with my Crane 3s. It works great, but I think something like this Thanos might be a better fit for me for longer shooting days. Because I'm suffering from Gear Acquisition Syndrome™, I GOTTA get this now lol No but seriously, love this video. Quick and to the point. Definitely looking forward to a review from you on a ring setup. I'm always looking for better ways to configure mine
This vest is different than the links in the description.correct me if im wrong but your vest has the the straps under your armpits but the links look different
Mine doesn't have the front strap part by the df, and any other tutorial ive seen doesn't have them either, yours the only one. Why is that? I needs that lol
Hello Scott. Thanos SE in the video is the latest version. We upgraded the front strap based on customer suggestions. We know your Thanos SE does not has the front strap but it can't be upgraded because that strap was installed at the factory.
Hi guys, I've recently been using the Thanos SE for my 5 kg setup and I have the following problem: as soon as I turn the arm of the bagh vest to the left, as some recommend, and put my setup in the vest, my equipment turns from the left to the left to the right. exactly the same thing happens when i turn the arm of the vest, where you install the setup to be able to take inclined shots, to the right and then install my camera. my gimbal is installed with the front side facing the mounting screw. Unfortunately, the setup then turns from right to left and doesn't stand still. how can I solve the problem?
Hi. The maximum height at which the camera can rise is uncertain. The height of the rails on the vest is 24cm. And you need to add the length of the arm, but the length of the arm is affected by the weight of your camera and other device.
Is compatible for Zhiyun Crane 4?
How satisfied are you with the rotations of the gimbal considering that there is no bearing in which to rotate the gimbal?

Thank you. If you need THANOS , please email me.

So… do you still recommend it a few months later? I was thinking about the Tilta ring but the Thanos SE seems like a good alternative.
Good thing about this vest is the Z-axis stabilization
Thanks for making this video
I'm sold

did you ever figure this out? I'm curious to know the solution as well
I bought this today and my back hurts. I don't feel it in the arms anymore but my back hurts more.
How high can you rise the camera with the Thanos se?

Thank you brother.
