My recipe (passed down from a Canadian Latina) 2 Avocado, cilantro(to taste) , red onion(3/4) , tomato(3/4) , juice of half a lime, salt(to taste) , pinch of cumin, Serrano (2 of them) Rough chop the onions and tomatoes. Finely dice the Serrano pepper, with a form mix everything together until just combined. No mashing. NO GRILLS MAN. 😭😭😭😭
One of the most common mistakes non-Mexicans make when they try to make Mexican foods is with cumin. Cumin can easily overpower all of the flavors and guacamole should not taste like cumin. A lot of people mistakenly associate cumin with Mexican food but cumin is not even a Mexican spice and can easily ruin the taste of a Mexican dish.
I feel like they ranked on how much they liked the person as opposed to the product. Give Ina a 10 because she wants to be her homey. Another ranks Rachel low because she thinks she needs to retire. The scores were all over the place! Entertaining to watch though. Try to be more objective, ladies!
So I don’t like Rachel Ray, I’m just gonna bypass her. I bought candy from the second ladies company and I think her guacamole was the best, OMG the third one… She put the Tabasco hot sauce even as a black person my soul screamed! You cannot EVER add a vinegar sauce to Mexican food TF!!!!!!!!! I am a hot sauce connoisseur! I have Louisiana for my chicken, which is more of a vinegar, hot sauce, but not as Tabasco, I have Tapatio for my burrito/tacos/enchiladas etc. and I have my Cholula sauce for my Mexican seafood. And in my refrigerator, I have my wasabi, siracha and hot chili oil ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Valentina is also on deck at all times lol
No grilling. Mexican Food is simple to the point. Avocado, brown onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime, tomato, salt and pepper to taste. All diced and mix it. Nothing fancy. Simply no grilling.
