It features the combination of ES-335 and Trini Lopez model features Dave requested and that fans expect, including a semi-hollow ES body with bound diamond-shaped sound holes, a one-piece mahogany neck with an elliptical profile, Trini Lopez-style headstock with Grover® Mini Rotomatic tuners, laurel fretboard, and split diamond inlays. The pickups are Dave’s preferred Gibson USA Burstbucker™ models, with a Burstbucker 2 in the neck and a Burstbucker 3 in the bridge position. They’re wired to CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, and a Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch and 1/4” output jack. Grohl would’ve gotten his own signature drums if he still were in Nirvana..dude practically defined 90s drumming..and is a decent guitar player too
@cadogangurung1824 That's exactly my point. Dave is probably one of the most iconic drummers of the 90s & would have easily had signature series drums. Then, to become the lead singer & guitarist in a new band that has since become legendary in its own right is extremely impressive

I don't know my way around buying guitars, but given this is an epiphone, can we expect this 335 to be produced in such amount it ever won't be a problem to buy one or is it gonna be just like the original Gibson DG335?

How heavy is it?
Dagan recommended the Epiphone Alex Lifeson. Failed to mention the nut was too wide for the fingerboard. Bloody strings slipped of the side of the frets. Had to mod it myself with a smaller nut and shims.
He wouldn't have said it anyway, but maybe the nut was fine on the one he was playing.??

I personally do not like hollow body guitars or semi hollow. Nothing against the guitar, just not for me. Epiphone knocked it out the park on this one. The only thing I would change is to flip the headstock and have bevels on it. I am a Thunderbird fan after all.
I’ve been wanting one of these ever since Gibson/Epiphone made the announcement about releasing a DG335 Signature.

Better off buying the Chibson version for a fraction of the price and changing out the hardware. Itl still be under half the price of the Epiphone and probably have a better fit and finish

Quindoa epiphone facility is completely American owned and operated Scott Lewis is the facility manager along with American and Asian luthiers if you would have researched first before you open your mouth you would have known this

Made in china and it's the same price as like 3 amazing Solar guitars or 3 Mexico Fenders. Lol😂. It's worth about half the asking price. Gibson pickups and a hardcase don't add up to $3299aud.
