Antonius with the stone cold hitman demeanor.
He's Finnish. He is actually displaying the utmost jubilation and excitement at that moment. You can even see him cracking the faintest of smiles at one point, for 1,5 seconds.
Good work, 47
I had AQ, flop AAQ, checked 3 times, no one bet.... Sick
U should bet 1 buck
@@TheBrianleary then 2 bucks
Dont eat breakfast!
pot has to be big enough for people to try and win it.
Did anyone raise pre-flop?
Antonius knows his opponent...very well played
“What a dealer this is” classic lol
When did this become a thing, to blame the dealer? I don’t like it.

I think potentially Antonius is one of the best
He is one of best, not potentially, he is.
pretty sure after decades of watching he's met his potential.
Crazy he started playing poker after a chance meeting with Gus Hansen in a pool hall
@@Alfie223 Way before he met Gus. Patrik has been playing for tiny money in home games since he was a kid. Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies played in the same games, they've been friends since teens. Gus probably started after Patrik tbh.
Wut
Classless tony blames dealer. Standard
Love seeing Tony get trapped like this. Patrick knows his opponent well. Great hand.
Patrik is an absolute beast. Reeled TG in like a day 1 online poker player.
Antonius is a smooth operator
Coast to coast

@@trinhkhanh2618after nearly 40 years, I still haven’t figured out which “coast” Chicago is supposed to be on 😅
That's understanding your opponent. Good job Patrick.
Tony got outplayed hard
Not really, he knew he was beat. It's almost an impossible fold.
@@wuper2270why? If he knew he was beat
@@wuper2270 so by your logic cornering somebody into an impossible fold isnt outplaying them? sounds pretty smart to me
@@wuper2270 Almost impossible? the probability of your opponent having an ace there is pretty high. Its not an impossible fold. He said "I'm trapped" because he was mentally trapped. He knew a fold was the play there, but he tilt called. It never feels good to fold to check raise on the river and tony g is not the most stable player of ever
@@CaptainCob no, I guess you're right. I misspoke.

Tony G: I was set up! WHAT A DEALER!!
It’s the dealers fault says Tony. Unless it was Tony catching the flop. RIP Mike.
Mike?

@@Itsisawnotiseen I didn't know Mike Sexton died. Rest in peace.
This is a prime example of a stone cold poker player. Plays patiently, zero expressions and gestures/ticks, confident he's winning the round and waits for the opponent to make their own grave lol
For me Patrik antonius and phil ivey are the most intimidating players to go against
yeah, they give nothing away. Dwan has a good face but with him he also gets great cards all the time so it doesnt matter
@@jamesradcliffe3985 lol wtf "great cards all the time" these guys have played for 30 years pretty sure the hands are pretty even
Tony G is a petulant child, I love seeing him humbled, Antonius always exudes confidence
definition of playing the player not the board
Cold .as. Ice.
Not all trappers wear fur hats as Jesse May used to say on Late Night Poker.
I think it was also the way he checked the river. Very subtle acting that made him seem dejected.
Autosubs turing '(Tony) G's got the Kings' into 'cheese got the kings' is the funniest thing I've seen youtube do today.
tony should be happy he escaped without getting stacked
Sakitnya tuh disini !
Tony G already had the "I'm trapped"-look pre-flop!
The other interesting consideration that I haven't heard anybody discuss about this hand is that Tony had the nut flush blocker with the king of clubs. This hand might have played out differently if his king of clubs was a different suit as he surely didn't put Antonius on either an A or a flush draw as he'd expect Antonius to bet the turn in both instances either to charge a flush draw or semi-bluff if he had a flush draw himself. So when the club hits the river he's also considering that Antonius may be re-raising with a worse hand such as an underpair pocket pair, and if not just making a naked bluff, on the river. If he didn't have the king of clubs Tony might have played the turn differently.
So damn good looking too
Love seeing TonyG losing :)
It’s the dealers fault
I flopped quads and checked through no takers
It's a situation that you have to be up against another bigger pair and/or the other person get coolered for you to get paid. Either that or there's some sort of flush/straight on board in addition to the 2 cards that complete the quads. Most people will be cautious when the board is paired, but I've been in situations where they've called big bets with flushes and straights.
Last week in live tournament, I got dealt QQ utg raised 2.5BB I 3xBET to 8xBB he calls and guy right to me calls. Flop: Q2Q
I flopped freaking poker on a flop. I instantly bet because I put them on strong hands (AT+, pocket pairs) i bet 40% pot i get a call from utg. guy right to me folds
turn king
I bet 50% of the flop he goes all in. I call. He turns KJ suited
I turn QQ and everyone at the table was like WOAAAAHH I felt so good hahaha the guy who I knocked out said "you flopped quads?? Well done kid, good luck"
i can't believe he wasn't mad or anything, like some people get when they get knocked out. He took it with pride and made me feel good about it, now I can remember these quads with a smile on my face. 2 days later I got straight flush in online poker, now im waiting for royal flush too by the end of the next week hahahaha
the thing about quads is if its 3 on the flop and u have one of them, most ppl wont have anything except pocket pairs which is full house
On your bike Tony G
Classic tilted Tony. Blames the dealer for a passion call. He should have lost 70k here and just taken the hit & taken his hat off to Patrick.
Calling the 140k was just Tony’s own stupid pride, he wasn’t prepared to admit he’d been had. He knew Patrick had AT LEAST a set.
No sympathy for the 80s & 90s players like this. Pure arrogance and minimal talent. Wouldn’t even be a professional if he’d started out nowadays. Nowhere near Patrick’s level.
What a phenomenal trap by Antonius..he flopped a full house and CHECKED 3 TIMES...3TIMES...HE CHECKED 3 TIMES!!!!!..he is the master of deception , SALUTE TO YOU BRO
FeelsBadMan
No… to je tak, když té někdo nechá vyhrát 😂😂😂
Antonius shoulda just been modeling the whole time, screw poker.
As a former dealer, dealing that kind of thing to a player like Tony G....incredible
Mike said it would be frustrating if Tony didn't get a caller. It was actually frustrating that he did.
couldnt have happened to a nicer guy
Well, he could of got away from it. I figured the F on the River might've saved him some money. Sometimes you think you're slowplaying a person= and they are slowplaying you, lol.
Triple checking hands like this is a thing you have to do sometimes especially OOP or else your checking range will be too weak. Sometimes the only way you can make money is to entice people into bluffs or weak value bets.
Very Bad call by Tony.
You have to call with kings
It was frustration. He knew he was beat but he was pissed off when his bet got raised. An ego like Tony G would rather play that hand and lose than get bluffed out of his chips in a TV game after 3 checks.
@@cosmosgato I don't think so in that situation. He had to bet, sure, but when he got raised he knew he was beaten.
Poor call.
I also think he bet too much on the river. Would like to have seen about 1/4 pot there. If Tony G feels like he *has to* call a chk rse in that spot it would of been for a lot less most likely.
thats my opponent right there
He byet meh, strayt ap. Pay heem, peh dat mian his manny
Now go ride yer trike!
Seeing tony g lose is just pure enjoyment
I mean you have kings? Bet flop/turn and find out if opponent has an ace or not lmao.
Dead on the floop...?🤔....Runner runner K...K.....gives him quads...🤗
Someone probably folded a K offscreen
Lol
Why odds say 100%-0% at the flop if there still could have been drawn two kings?
It has to be that another guy folded a king, or the odds were rounded down.
Is that imperialHal???
What are you talking abt bro?
A 170k check raise on a 112k pot - duhhhh he has an ace minimum
Maybe he was bluffing like 10 high or something?
@@jonatantiger5886in order for his bluff to be profitable, Tony needs to fold. He never folds an Ace there, and since he's Tony G, he wouldn't fold JJ-KK. This bluff might've worked against someone who overfolds, and Tony is anything but that
@@jonatantiger5886It doesnt matter, the pot odds are bad, and no reason to call it, even with KK.
Even the announcers said he had to know he was gonna lose but just called out of pure stubbornness. It leaves a sour taste in the mouth to fold after being re-raised and just give that money away, but you would expect a pro to handle it better. Convincing yourself it's a bluff and calling is a total amateur online poker player move. I would know, I do it all the time.
Should have raised all in preflop lol
you don't win at poker very much do you? ;-)
I would've been mad also
Rounders lol
Gangster
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.
If it was on pokerstars he would have checked
Sometimes you know you're trapped, but you have to pay to be sure. I'd rather pay for than get bluffed out of it....
tony you're fine, this is a sit n go no one cares about xD
Anonius didnt get lucky by getting full house. Tony G got unlucky by getting KK.
And it couldn't have happened to a "nicer" player too.
easy when you are betting with other people's money..
Why does the flop show 0% for Tony G? Could he not have had a chance at turn&river Kings for Quads?
The only thing I can think is that one of the other guys folded a King, so they know it’s already out.
Although we don’t actually see anyone else’s hand, so I’m not sure.
Actually I think its just rounding down. The odds are probably 0.01 something.
