Here I am watching this video for the 20th time. 30 minutes away from cutting a huge hole in my BRAND NEW Transit mid roof. Thanks for the tutorial... you are setting my mind at ease.

I'd like to join others below in praising the quality of this video. I won't be doing this job myself, but I enjoyed learning how it is done (and done well). I am now less reluctant to consider putting two fans into a new van, and I might add an extra window. Thanks for making such careful, educational, and engaging videos.

Great video! I love the details you include, like being sure to vacuum up the metal shavings. I've seen other vids about fan installs and they basically just slap it in there and move on. The info you're providing is really helpful to someone who has no building skills : ) Thanks!

I recently decided to sell my Harley to purchase a Transit LWB and convert it as you have. I have been watching sooooo many how-to's but I am wrapped I found your tutorials. Easily, the best by far! Well done mate. You've inspired me; I can't wait to get started.

Yet another compliment on your clarity in speaking and presentation of these videos. Rather than induce fear in those embarking on such a project, they're actually really reassuring. I note this is the last video in your series, but I really hope you'll be able to add some more at a later date. Thanks for the time and effort you've put in to making them.

I was looking at a video where you talked about water entering under side trim. Two UK builders found that the leaks had been there. Some of the drain holes in the cills were blocked and when cleared over a gallon of water drained out of some sections. Not rusty water though

Thanks! Great detail! Never saw one of those adapter plates before.
Leaving areas big enough (eg 66” x 40” x 2) for large heavy (not portable) solar panels has been the bane of any of my camper designs, and has moved that planning to very early in the process. 500 watts minimum. Large panels cuts the panel cost to 1/2 and less.

Awesome Video! putting two vent fans on top for cross circulation is a great idea also, Wanting solar, so a lot of planning goes into placement of vent fans and solar panel or panels. Love this build series. East Texas here.

Great video once again. Thanks. I'm looking for the right windows to buy and install so lots of questions...how is your window holding up? Any movement, vibration, leaks? It looked like it sat in with only a few screws? Is there any need for a wood support behind? Can it be opened easy from the outside or is it secure? Lastly how is the sealing tape holding up..any leaks? thanks

Curious if you did any research on having a CO detector in addition to a CO2 detector? Having difficulty finding good sources online about it, but most RV's seem to have both.

I thought when installing the fan, you would need to build your roof frame first so the fan would be screwed onto the frame inside?
