Hi Wally. I dunno... I've watched lots of quasi miracles Red Green conjured up with duct tape. That metal tape though, I learned something new. So, colors, has the owner decided ? Cheers!
I loved watching Red Green. If this was a metal car regular tape would have worked but being fiberglass I was worried that when spraying the paint it would peel the regular tape away and make a mess. I want this to hold firm and the metal tape is best
I never thought about using metal tape for masking. I’ll have to try it sometime. From my time using metal weld backing tape, I’d have to recommend wearing mechanics gloves when applying it though, because it can give you a paper cut on steroids.
That's great Wally, sure must feel great to be prepped and ready...
It is tough, I do not want to rush anything but definitely happy about this milestone
Pretty warm on the West coast, also. Right now 32c and 36% humidity. Power plant in cobra 302?
I know if I try and paint in this heat and humidity it will be a mess and I will not be happy. Yes, it is a 302,
@@68mustangrestoration34 Yes, you have put in a huge effort. Patience is now required.

I used it due to the fiberglass body as I tried regular tape and it was not holding well enough. I was snagging my skin on jagged fiberglass as well 🙂
