Oh yes BABYMETAL is totally a band to be experienced live. They have done a pretty great concert in Wembley Arena in 2016. If it wasn't for Covid, they pretty much tour in the UK every year. If you can catch a concert, I'd definetly plan to go. The girls love to see young girls in the audience and they would no doubt give your daughter plenty of smiles ;).
Me and my 11 year old daughter are huge BabyMetal fans. We saw them live in concert in 2019. Yes, their live concerts are just as incredible in person as they are in the videos. They never disappoint.
Yea Babymetal did a Europe tour this year and performed also in Glasgow. Too bad you guys missed it out because we probably won't get a tour in a long time now during these times. :( I was lucky to get to see them in germany for the first time before the whole corona outbreak happened. There are some fancams of the glasgow show if you wanna check it out.
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🤘 This was filmed at Makuhari Messe, a Japanese convention center outside Tokyo. It holds around 9,000 people, so it's a mid-sized venue for BABYMETAL. They perform there fairly often. BABYMETAL also love performing in the UK, and consider it to be like a second home. They did headlining shows in Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester and London in February 2020, and appeared at Glastonbury Festival, and a headliner at O2 Academy Brixton last year.
When I first when to Makuhari I couldn't stop thinking how cool it is that I'm here at the same place Legend 1997 took place. I saw them twice there and once at Saitama and that's the extent of my BM concerts in Japan.
As you both continue your journey down the FoxHole,, I'll be interested in hearing Angie's views on their early years, as she sees what they did to get to this point, the school system and their training. Also, as you loved the crowd reaction, you might enjoy watching their opening number on the Wembley DVD, where the crowd basically sings the song to them. It takes huge talent to do what they did. 3 little girls go halfway around the world to play in front of a crowd that doesn't speak their language and slays them.
Great reaction - BABYMETAL live is the way to go (but watch the official videos too, they are also good). Next reaction should be their first appearance in the UK at Sonisphere (Knebworth near Stevenage) in 2014. At that one there were 60,000 people who didn't speak Japanese and in just 30 minutes (5 songs) BABYMETAL had won them over - this was the last song ua-cam.com/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/v-deo.html 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai) (just call it IDZ, it means Bullying, No More, Forever).
Babymetal has performed in Germany, Moa (Dance and Scream) loved the food and wants to return. She also liked her trip to Germany as she had a birthday while there and due to crossing time zones she got an extra hour of birthday.
Another great reaction! They put on a show for sure. If you're going to do more of these, and I hope you do, I'd recommend Akatsuki - ua-cam.com/video/g2372C5PJLM/v-deo.html It's a song that the lead singer performs solo and it's just so good.
Babymetal, from a probably odd/silly song* to an amazing live experience ! Honestly, I don't think anyone else could do such a thing. Not without reason Babymetals got awards. * the song writing, etc. is still good, but the theme, etc. maybe are seen as childish and MV are silly
@@glenkelley6799 I'm talking about the contrast. Of the song with the little girls voices has an epic performance by these little girls. I think most people wouldn't expect such a performance ability from these girls.

@@scottianson5133 I've seen them live five times, but never in Japan.
That's at the top of my bucket list.

They started the band when they were 11 and 12 same age with your daughter.
Love it, saw these guys in Glasgow in February, best night of my life!

You really need to watch them perform "Karate" live in front of a British audience at Download 2016 during a downpour.
Saw them live in Atlanta and it was truly amazing!
They are so big they sell out stadiums everywhere they play. Check out the wembley live shows .unbelievable crowd.

Of course they were children when they started, so literally childish :D
