Lrg Seratus Tahun Curry Mee: In business a long time but still delicious and unique kari noodles!

Come and join us at this once super popular curry noodles stall at Khuan Pin Coffeeshop in Georgetown, Penang. The curry mee is still as good as I remember as this stall has been around for a long time. The name of the Road it is on is Lorong Seratus Tahun which is translated as 100 Year Lane from Bahasa Malaysia.
The old school taste of this curry mee is very unique because it is not a creamy or thick curry but rather more like a seafood broth or soup with spices and chilli. You get cockles, prawns, coagulated blood, tofu puffs and the optional fishballs if you want. Perfectly blanched yellow noodles with a superb broth makes this a mouth watering breakfast or lunch, be prepared to wipe your brows of any sweat from the spice!

You went to the right place. Other branches not so good after the father passed to the sons. Worse in KL/PJ where the flavour/bee sor not the same as before. Hope you enjoy!😊

That is a very good point. I have also seen some original stall owners sell their business and retire, but the ones who take over just can't get the taste right again. It is such a shame if we lose our old stalls and noone takes over.

I guess everybody has their own favorites! This curry mee is more of a sweeter less creamy soup which may not suit some people's taste.
